I am also using this yet. Its really a fantastic display mobile. In display comparison no mobile company are as much as better than samsung.

J2 completed 5 years as of today 11th September 2020.

Samsung j2 is the best mobile using since 2018 and it lags a bit but not hanging at all. It depends upon your usage. Even people paying 100000 for iPhone are not happy.

I am using Samsung Galaxy J2 Dual Sim 2015 from March 2016 to till now.
I am kind of happy for the price I paid for this mobile back then.
I bought this mobile with Rs. 8300 in India.
Till now I have paid Rs. 1200 for an additional original battery for this mobile and brought a power bank for emergency purpose.
I use this applications like What's App, Facebook, Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Opera, Opera Mini, Google Chrome, Google Drive, Google Play Music, Airtel App, Airtel TV app, Camera and Garena Free Fire on J2.
Obviously this phone hangs a lot if I multi task with the apps above mentioned and even some time need to close them.
But this mobile is not that high end type that it can do everything smoothly.
I am happy with this mobile.
Waiting to buy a good mobile within Rs. 10000.

Kindly press the power button along with volume up key and home button in equal manner and clear the catche with the help of power button.

I just bought a second hand samsung that was unlocked. It wasn't your particular model, but I had the exact same message when I put my working SIM card into it. It turns out that it was very likely that the SIM card reader was damaged/or no longer working even though the phone looked like it had been well taken care of. I called a repair shop and they said it would not be worthwhile paying for repairs. I don't know if this helps. I tried doing factory resets and other Googled suggestions, but I think the phone was just not good. I hope you can get things resolved or are able to replace your phone.

i am using this j2 since 2015 and in these recent days it is showing some problem in notification panel and very laggy. kindly guys suggest me which version of firmware is stable without any problem for this j2. But for note, i am using this with latest version.

j2 hangs too much. when we place a call, it shows 'not registered on network'. this annoys too much. when wrote to samsung customer care, they do not reply. recently i posted e-mail for online support as the phone is annoying too much by the same - 'not registered on network' messages, but no reply. i was thinking to buy another samsung mobile, but not re-thinking due to negligible customer support. i was about to go to buy m21 or m31, but now revising my option. anybody knows about mobiles, please guide me for a better option than samsung m21 and m31 in the same price range and 6/64 mb features. bye samsung. useless customer service.

I am still using this mobile as my primary mobile.
This mobile is still good but hangs a lot.
Also I brought 10000 mAh power bank so that I don't have to think of battery problem when I am outside of my home.
It was value for money product back then.
Nice mobile.
