I'm having a hard time finding these reviews helpful when most of the people who wrote them can't even spell simple words correctly. I simply needed to know how the phone works, not opinions on what they think the phone needs to upgrade. 😣

AnonD-623017, 11 Feb 2017When This Device will get android marshmallow update or nou... moreI doubt the 2016 model of J3 will ever see Nougat. But it definitely has received Marshmallow. At the very least, the carrier unlocked version sold in Canada definitely ships with Marshmallow.
If your device is locked to a carrier, then the blame probably rests with your carrier. If you have a factory unlocked variant, then the blame rests with Samsung's local operation in your country.

Well I love with j3 but it has a problem
Beach use it want marshmallow and ithe doesn't update ando I really want marshmallow and gaming experience is good and camera good too so I love this
Andocument but it is also not much popular
I request Samsung to make a good 2gb ram and 16 go rom

When This Device will get android marshmallow update or nougat? I wanna upgrade my J3 2016 from lollipop to the marshmallow or nougat but I don't get it :(((
I knew this device is really good but bad in lollipop
I hope Marshmallow or nougat will be released for this device in february 2017 :/

Galaxy A5, Galaxy J3, & More
Australian carrier Optus at one point said it planned to release the Android Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy A5 in January. Those plans have changed.
The carrier’s latest update states that the Galaxy A5 Nougat update is currently in testing. The carrier expects testing to be completed sometime in February.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Nougat update, the Galaxy A5 update, and the Galaxy A3 Nougat update have shown up in benchmarks which means all three upgrades are moving forward in testing behind the scenes.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 Android Nougat update recently appeared in a Wi-Fi certification, a sign that it’s in development behind the scenes. The Galaxy Tab S2’s Nougat update has also received its Wi-Fi certification.
In addition, the company is also reportedly working on Android Nougat updates for the Samsung Galaxy A7, Galaxy A9, and the Galaxy A9 Pro.
Look for these updates to start pushing out in early-to-mid 2017, sometime after Samsung gets Nougat out to its flagship models.

The phone turning off can easily be changed in settings, and while voice to dial is a unique service I haven't heard about in other phones, I'm sure there's an app out there that can do something similar.

Very nice phone but Samsung should work on improving the internal storage... it is already 85% full of pre installed apps, etc..
You can't even download more apps coz you're warned that the system memory is full. This storage issue is common with all 2016 - present phones released by Samsung..

I updated to Samsung J3 2016 two weeks ago. This phone has none of the features that I loved in my older (much older) phone. Absolutely hate this phone! My 6 or 7 year older Motorola had voice option to call. I could speak into the phone to call any ten digits and it would dial them, as well as speaking into the phone to call a contact. Not so with the Samsung J3! Yes, it has speech to text, but not speech to call. Why not? Second problem, if you pause for even a moment without typing something in, you have to "open" the phone all over again! This will happen continually! I have also lost calls (three times from my doctor today)Just would not pick up the calls! Returning to purchase a different phone tomorrow. Thumbs down on Samsung J3 2016
