If you do nothing but watch YT vids you'll be fine with this phone cause it got a great, bright screen. But it shows such a tremendous lack of capacity both in RAM and its chipset, it is tremendously slow (really beyond belief) and cannot load a somewhat more elaborate website, like for instance that of a shop, at all.

After update pie my phone laaaaagsss...so i dowgraded it to oreo using odin but forgot to tick unlock oem option...now my phone is DEAD

I will tell you what I did: I made a clean installation of Pie using Odin (last version). I used the four archives to make the update. After a few days, I realized that the phone was experiencing some minor bugs (I guess that some of the four archives I used from Sammobile was not ok, But I really don't know the reason of those bugs). So I decided to make a clean installation again using Odin, but this time I installed Oreo (last Oreo update, the one just before Pie update). After a couple of days using and testing Oreo, I thought that the phone was working fine. And I updated to Pie, but neither via OTA or Odin, but using Smart Switch this time. As I said before, I have faced no bugs since then.

Slowly facing issues after pie update. Lag is one of the most common problem. It seems Samsung J7 2016 is much more suitable for pie update not this J4+ with just only have Quadcore not the same with the Octacore in J7 2017 and pro editions.

After i updated my phone to android pie, my front camera hangs up and says "Server error occured, please restart camera". Is it a bug from the update? Please help.

What's the point of Samsung making so many phones, A2 Core, J7 Core, J4 Plus, J6 Plus, J3 Pro, J7 2018... The A2 Core has a better processor than the J4+ and the J6+ but both phones are better overall. The J3 Pro, why put Pro when it is the exact same phone as the J3 2017, country or carrier shouldn't make a difference to the name, it's just unnecessary. The J7 2018 sounds like the successor to the J7 2017 but it is inferior in almost every way, I get it, I know it is for the US, but still, doesn't anyone else get annoyed by Samsung's naming? At least Nokia gets their names right, I don't understand how people say Nokia make too many phones, just look at Samsung...

Bought the Samsung J4+ ± 4 months ago. My battery is no longer charging to 100%. It used to last 2½ days. Now I am lucky if it lasts a day. I have optimised the battery settings .. cleared everything running in the background.
When "fully" charged it might show 86%. When I restart the phone it shows 100% and then 30 minutes it will show 70 or 80%.
Please assist.

I have no problem with my phone - Samsung J4+. I think the problem would be in the user of the devise. It is on how we use it.
