Turns out it wasn't the phones fault, bu... moreI agree, when you are using a sub-standard ear-phones, this J5 hangs and keeps on re-booting. Do not understand the connection between hanging and head-phones..... :) :)

I used Samsung J5 (J500G).
I like it, even I can't describe my happy for using this phone.

And we need nougat.WITH ADOPTABLE STORAGE.IF YOU REMAIN ARROGANT AND DONT LISTEN RO YOUR CUSTOMERS,YOU WILL GO THE WAY OF NOKIA.no one thought nokia will die one day.but it died because of its arrogance.no one today thinks samsung mobile division will die...lets see what time tells.i have used many 8gb phones.they give 5 gb user usable mmory.this phone gives like 2gb or less.JUST REMOVE YOUR USELESS APPS.WE DOnT NEED galaxy app store,s bike mode,microsoft apps,my galaxy app...just remove these....the sbike mode is useless gimmicky app that no one uses.

I was so upset everytime i look at my stack sg j5 2015. Actually, I loved it and I planning to get a replacement for its LCD touch screen display. As per experience it's all good..

We need a new update from samsung.to increase user usable internal menory
1.remove all microsoft apps.
2 renove-google apps
3.prevent auto update if galaxy app store
4.give adoptable storage.
Its up to you samsung...i think hundred million j5 have been sold.of you dont resolve these issues...do you think these people will buy a samsung phone again.AT LEAST GIVE 4.5 GB USER USABLE INTERNAL MEMORY.

Had same problem.
Turns out it wasn't the phones fault, but the earphones'. Something was messed up in the cable, and whenever I plugged to my phone it ended up rebooting.
Have you tried different earphones?

My phone (J500H) is heating up while charging. Other times it remains in normal temperature. Is it for hardware damege??

Storage problem. .3.35 gb system memory.
Sim 2 slot not working,
Battery got spoiled,
Phone gets very hot
Speakers voice got reduced
All this in just 1 year.

I hated Samsung since i bought grand prime after that i bought htc sony asus BlackBerry but now a friend advised me to buy j7 then i decided to experience j5 first and now im using it i only inserted 4gb memory card with internal 8gb of it i have no problems which i I'm reading from others i just liked it a lot it is smooth running marshmallow never lag and best battery timing i had even i used 3200mah 3650mah phones but this one gave me the best battery timing ever

AnonD-613532, 18 Apr 2017is it right to root my phone j5 to increase my internal memory Rooting a phone is always a bad idea unless you're 100% sure you know what you're doing. You can try to root it and remove as much of the unused apps as possible but I'm afraid it won't help you sufficiently.

Soooo bad phone....ever i seen in my life after 17 days of buying it creating problem restarting continously.....don't buy this phone
