Anonymous, 21 Apr 2017why does mine trns off when plgged with earphones Hi there mine did the same thing but after I found out that the headphones i was using had a faulty jack try another pair. If not try cleaning the input.

Not recommended.
Phone has solid performance, but chronically poor storage management that makes daily use hard. I worked the diagnostics and even used a 3rd party app, but the core software consumes all the storage and kills functionality. Their are better phones at this price range

Absolute waste of money and time. Piece of hogwash. Don't waste your money on it!! not enough space to have any apps on it! everytime it does an update something else doesn't work. terrible terrible phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! disgusted actually.

please please don't waste your money on j5 8GB it`s a shit you cannot uninstall Bloatware apps also you can not install apps what you want. coz, not enough memory.otherwise, the phone is quite a bit okay.waist of money and time.

Mine has started to corrupt apps whenever I turn the phone off and a lot of random apps (for instance; I can move Facebook to my SD card but my sister's phone can't --> same model) can't be moved to a SD card. Also; you'll have to move them back to your SD card after EVERY update the app gets.

Aside from space problem, which apps cannot be moved to sd card, samsung j5 is a nice choice

The J5 is the worst samsung I have ever had with 8GB memory on the phone it always fills up and I have to delete apps, even with a memory card it makes no difference so sorry I upgraded to this terrible phone

I use samsung galaxy j5 and it's amazing. But after the marshmallow update am being confronted with the issue of slow charging. I really don't know where the problem has emanated from. Pls i need help.
