I bought Samsung J5(2015 model) in March 2016 and it is still alive and working for 4 years and 9 months now. Though its very tight on space and RAM but its camera is way better than samsung phone 2019 and 2020.

have been using this phone since September 2015. Actually, this phone lasts longer than I thought it would be. And finally, this year is the time for me to buy a new phone since this j5 is not working properly the reason maybe because it's already 5 years old

I wanted to like it, but it really fights back. I mean, is not a bad phone per se, but it heats a lot, the storage fills up easily and the battery life is weak... Also is pretty hard to find an original battery replacemente these days. If you're stuck with it, is a pretty bad situation. It is also very slow for today standards.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2020Please I want to know what can I do when my galaxy j5 phone... moreMine had the same issue and it went away after some time, I think there was probably some humidity inside the 3.5 mm jack which made the phone think there was a headphone inserted, I would recommend to try to heat it a little, or put it in a low humidity environment (bag with rice) to help it dry out. It is worth trying.

I have this phone since 2016. It has been good, but lately, you have to clear the memory and erase things several times a day and also the battery runs out very quickly. I need a new one hahaha

I ve been using J5 for the last four years. I am fed up with clearing ROM memory every night all these years.Not many memory consuming apps on my phone except Whatsapp. Never was able to install FB app. I use a browser for FB. In the phone settings it shows 8 GB of ROM but when I connect it to my computer it shows only 4.67 GB. Either a small 3.33 ROM with OS is hidden from view or it is pure dishonest advertisement.

got to be honest i got the original and its great hella good phone no complaints. its great for photos and it help a lot when designing my new bedroom i got to give it 5 stars
