I think it's a brilliant phone - very clear, quick, and a pleasure to use. My only problem is with me, with increasing arthritis in hands and wrists, using this size for longer calls is becoming uncomfortable so I wouldn't recommend it for older friends. But the phone itself? Brilliant.

        Those who have used this phone for ≥7months : How is the day-to-day performance of the device? Any random reboots/lags/stutters/overheating when stressed?

          Please make it the same but with removable battery. Keep all other things as aluminium body, cameras , compass etc . Also update it to android 9 .I will buy many if it is so. Thank you.

            Nelzeal, 17 Feb 2019Unfortunately A8 isn't listed among the device to be upgrad... moreIn Romania, the A8 is officially listed for updating to Android 9.0 in April 2019 already started changes Samsung mail Samsung Theme store, Samsung Galaxy Store have changed the icons and format including the Internet Samsung browser already has changed in the new One Ui format !!! This means that Update 9.0 One Ui is very close.

                      After trying couple of Always on Amoled apps I noticed vibration when selecting items in default apps and entering numbers with numeric keyboard in some 3rd party apps. Now I dont have any Always on Amoled app and vibration is still there. I cleared cache and all settings are ok. Anyone know how to disable it?

                            Unremovable battery is very bad thing. I don't know what to do if battery must be changed. No branch of
                            Samsung fixing mobiles in my city. Battery may be replaced by non original battery by technicians this will make mobile very bad .I live in Egypt , Tanta city

                                Make it same specs but with removable battery. Keep its aluminium body and all sensors including compass .
