Apart from this ''app size'' problem that mentioned before, I can't connect to my hotmail account via samsung email app. I don't know who is to blame for (I mean the developers of the samsung email app or anyone else) but the majority of people I know have this issue after update to android 8.1. Even after the factory reset I did. Also there is also an issue with app notifications. You will find yourselves struggling to check and adjust every single notification but you will get used to it after a while. In addition, a week ago, I noticed a problem with location in google maps and I had to open settings, change the detection method and then find my location, something that never happened in android 7.0. I have to do this every time I want to see my location. Finally, RAM consumption much better here (I have 700 MB free whatsoever) and battery life is overall the same.

For me Nougat is much better than Oreo. The only advantage of Oreo is the ram consumption. Battery is the same. That's it. Everything else is messed up compared to Nougat and lack in many things! You can see my previous review below.

Update started rolling in Bulgaria a few days ago. I still haven't updated because I'm not sure if it's worth it. Right now I'm very satisfied with the performance and battery life with Nougat 7.0 and I don't want any of these to get worse after an update. Can someone put pros and cons on updating to Oreo and share their experience about the performance and battery life after update? Thanks in advance!

After the Android's update to Oreo 8.1 from Nougat 7.0, I disable apps and their size remains the same. For example Samsung health is still 40 MB after disabling. Is there a way to fix this? Cause it's like disabling has lost its overall meaning.

*Not the pro edition* 2 days ago I also received Android Oreo 8.1 950MB! RAM consumption is better, battery life is the same. The thing is that they completely messed up everything. Icons are forced to have frames and it can not be changed. They have also added internal and external notification settings to all apps for every single thing you could ever imagine, making it less usefull. Generally the phone runs less smoothly than the Android Nougat 7.0.! I did a factory reset but it remains the same. Last but not least, an update to samsung app email due to Android 8.1, made me unable to connect to my hotmail account. Your opinions? xD
