Just got a new J7 3 weeks ago, model is J700T1, made in Vietnam, but it has 2Gb RAM, and the rest of the specs seems same described for J7 released 2015. I am based here in US east coast so did I buy something meant for the asia market ? I just wonder because there is a newer J7 2016 released with better specs and higher Battery of 3300 mAh. Any comments / inputs is really appreciated. Thanks so much! It is locked under the T------network.

Samsung j700f has received update in Philippines and Thailand.But not marshmallow update may be security update.Build date is 6th july

GSM areana plz give correct info.. stil we j7 j700f users has not recieved the updates.. but in ur website it is mentioned.. none of them has got the updates

Rakesh Rk , 13 Jul 2016I m purches Samsung j7 in 5/6/16 .and my mobile is 5/7/16 ... moreI have been using Samsung J7 foor a good 2 months now. I know it is too early to give a good or bad review.
I have never had problems with the battery. What I always do is to always charge my phone whenever the battery gets to 30%-20%. Never let the battery goes empty.
Secondly, I always clean the junk. First using the Smart Manager app by Samsung. Next using CM Lite (Clean Master Lite) of which you can download from Google Play Store.
So far, my battery can last at least 24 hours with heavy usage of internet.
