Today 'Nokia 2' launched..
Spec's.
SD 212 SoC (quad-core, clocked up to 1.2GHz)
Adreno 304 GPU.
1GB RAM
8 GB Internal memory
Android Nougat 7.1.1(preinstalled - Out of the box)😩
& will get Android Oreo too in due time...😠
So..why samsung is not releasing nougat update for J700F (2015) after having better H/W...😈
1.5Gb RAM is too enough to run Nougat ...where is problem??😣😢😭😭😳😵😐

I wanted Samsung to show me that they do listen to the people, but I guess its all about the money. Selling midrange phones mean changing phones every single year when a newer version comes out.. Pretty sad really.. I hope that my J7 Pro 2017 gets 2 updates its such a strong phone and was not really that cheap oh well cheers everybody life continues we lose we win but keep ya'lls heads up

In a nutshell - J7 that came with Lollipop have already been updated to Marshmallow, and J7 came with Marshmallow will get updated to Nougat. That is Samsung's policy.

Just check wifi alliance site for certification of j700f. Last certification date is 2015. So no chance of naugat in j700f.

I would still not loose hope. Why? I own J7 2016 and I got Nougat just two days ago, so there might be a slight chance that J7 2015 will get it. So yeah, you can hope a bit more...

AnonD-706868, 29 Oct 2017i got a doubt,if i flash j700t 7.0 firmware from sammobile ... moreHhmmmm, you know what - if you will flash the rom, dont use the J700T, but instead, download from Sammobile rom for J700T1. Reason being is the T and P uses Snapdragon chipset and not the Exynos 7580 chipset from Samsung. Just a tip in case you do choose to flash the F / H or M variant ...... share to all on your endeavor so others with same model as you can do the same if success.

Even if it does flash you will end up with a bricked phone. The 700t is most probably using a snapdragon 615 inside.. whereas the 700f is using an exynos chip inside...

i had posted many times to get a custom rom like lineage or hyperion..
no u all just want changed ui and some features u will not use..
get a custom rom and be silent.. u know samsung intentionally provides only one major update..
Get a stock android rom.. Bye
