      Actually - its refer to as the SM-J700T1, and does exist indeed. It is marketed under TMobile / MetroPCS combo flavors.
      Look it up as SM-J700T1 = is a 2Gb RAM offering instead of 1.5 of the 2015 model. It was released on May,2016. Though same battery rated @ 3000mAh battery, it offers NFC and OS version 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
      Powered by Samsung EXYNOS7580 Octo-core @ 1.5 Ghz chipset. GPU chipset: ARM Mali-T720. Resolution @ 720x1280. Fingerprint - on samsung release key.
      Lastly the Graphics API = OpenGL ES 3.1 ..... which I am excited to hear that it meets Nougat update requirement.

      Build: J700T1UVU3AQC3

      Lastly - this version came after SM-J700M, as these were all built during 2015, and J700T1 manufactured a year later SO it in sense would be equally qualified or even better than the 700M.

                    AnonD-350037, 26 Jul 2017guys ...dont worry thinking that j7 2015 will not get the n... moreit wont get nougat update..only s,a and note series will get 2 android os updates. even cosider note 4 it has higher specs that j7 still it hvent got nougat update.. probably there is no chance of getting nougat update on j7 2015 model

                      I think if you get get the SM-J701T - its the 'sweet-spot' of all the current J7 models out there from 2015-2017. It truly does exist, I believe it is a 'stop-gap' or a bridge between the 2015 model and the 2016 models.

                          had purchased a new samsung galaxy j7 in march 2017 but in may 2017 it started giving problem so took it to mobile shop and they said to leave it as they have lots of mobiles with same problem and after few days they said that the motherboard is damaged so will require replacement and cost pkr 13500/- but as had to go outside country and could not get same repair done.
                          anyway it was a very bad experience in purchasing a samsung j7 mobile phone

There is no external/physical damage from outside neither to body or to screen. Authorized Service Centre Manager as well as desk man has prepared job card informing me that it may be damaged from inside so we are unable to take it under warranty. They are not willing to write their assumption on remarks column. Service Centre also told me that if u will not willing to change the parts in that case you have to pay an amount for checking of the handset. I had a talk with customer care but useless.
