guys ...dont worry thinking that j7 2015 will not get the nougat updates because of the release of j7 nxt..as the samsung turkey have already confirmed j7 2015 is getting nougat updates in 2017 28 august....as you know j7 2016 was released after j7 2015 ...there was not much difference between them it was little ram and processor and battery difference..but the j7 2015 got marshmallow update wherever samsung maynot provide the marshmallow update to j7 2015 thinking it will drop down the sales of j7 2016 ....so be calm it will get nougat updates surely ...wait till end of this august and see...

I used to connect my J7 from different adapters for charging. So one day lower half of my screen started flickering when the brightness was reduced or the phone was locked or upon restart/shutdown. Samsung recommended me to replace the display which would have costed a lot. So I didn't go for it.
I tried many different methods to solve it on my own from internet's help but I knew it was a hardware problem not a software problem.
So to use the phone at night I installed a bluelight filter app. It worked and when the bluelight filter is active, the screen doesn't flicker.
But in daytime when I was not using this app, the flickering on locking device or plugging in the charger, reducing brightness, was still there.
And I made my peace with it.
BUT
After 3 months of flickering, the flickering automatically stopped. I don't know how or why or what the actual reason was. Now my phone is just like before.
So if you guys want, I can tell you what I did which led to this magical thing to happen.
Although I don't know if this will work for you(so sorry if it doesn't work out)
1. I regularly use bluelight filter app(from playstore) when I want to reduce brightness for in the night-time . At least activate it after 8pm in the evening till 8-9am in the morning. (It also helps our eyes to remain healthy and unaffected from the harmful rays of the mobile device)
2. Use the original charger for your device and make sure no other device charges from it. Only use this 1 charger for 1 device only. I made sure that nobody used my charger so that the flickering did not increase.
3. You can also try methods given on the internet for your device or other Samsung devices (S5 had the same flickering problem so you can see the solution and apply it on your device) and also refer to XDA developers forum(A solution was given there but it works only for rooted devices. Both of the internet methods given in step 3 "did NOT help me but I tried them anyway". I mentioned them because Maybe they had something to do with my phone issue getting solved on its own.
4. Also you can try hard reset/formatting just one time and flash a new original rom using odin software. Do take backup of your personal files before doing this method. I did try it 1 month back.
NOTE: All these steps did not solve my problem immediately after doing them but eventually my problem got solved automatically a week ago.
