An extra 1 GB RAM in J7 prime is not much as helpful because the RAM optimization is same as in J7 2016. See some side by side comparision video on youtube xeetechcare channel.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017J7 prime vs j7 2016 Which one is betterYou can scroll down a bit and you will find your answer. I would go for regular J7 if I was on your place. Performance is similar, but screen is better on J7, and I heard there are some problems with screen on Prime. Go for Prime only if fingerprint sensor is really important to you, and maybe because that one extra gigabyte of RAM.

j7 2016 is very good and excellent and the Galaxy j7 prime is very bad because Galaxy j7 prime is not properly working

good Phone but i have facing hanging problem while using more than 2 or 3 application at same time. finger print sensor missing is also bad part of this phone. performance of the phone is on average.

Very disappointed with the quality of the J7, coming from a GS III which had a great camera it is frustrating to see the quality of my pictures. Does not focus and pictures are dark and blurry. My husband bought the same phone and he is having the same issue. I use it to capture my daughter's memories and my husband for his job and the camera is just very poor quality. Stay away from this phone unless you just need it to make calls.
