How is J7 prime not in the USA when I have about 20 in my cell phone store to sell lol, its a great phone for it's price, it does the same exact thing and S8 or an iphone 7 can do without all the extra features most people don't even use.

For ringing tone very low sound .Aerage phone, redmi phones are far better than this and you can save cash.

Danny , 22 Jun 2017J7 Prime is sold in the U.S. Where did you get that info th... moreIt is confirmed that J7 prime is not sold officially in USA. Among J7, there are only two models available in USA, they are J7 2015 & J7 Perx. Perx is not prime. Perx is a completely different model.

Different websites show different details about Helio P20. If you want accurate information, go to official websites of Mediatek or Samsung, or even you can check with Sony Xperia XA1 & XA1 ultra. They also equip the same chipset Helio P20.

If you carry it from India, definitely you will face the connectivity problems related to 4g. J7 prime supports the following 2g & 3g frequency bands of USA, but not 4g.
The following frequency bands are primarily used in USA:
2g GSM 850, 1900.
3g UMTS 850, 1900, 1700.
4g LTE 1700, 1900.
And to avoid the REGION LOCK, make sure that you use the device for a certain period of time in India.

So, you should not face any network issue using both Indian and US SIM cards. I heard lot about Matrix SIM cards which are used in different countries. So you can use those SIMs also. Anyway make sure you buy a 32 GB version at least
As for other devices you can try J7 (2016) ( if you want to use a Super Amoled with NFC) or J7 Max (New series) or J7 Pro (I think it is little costlier). Regards.
