I have noticed a lot of Samsung users unnecessarily promoting Over priced Samsung devices which not only lack in build quality, but specs and over and above the os (unnecessary bloateare loaded, thus slowing the phone down). Thanks for bringing this up. Lets make the consumers aware on the true nature of Samsung devices.

I was expecting GSM arena a very high quality forum where members discuss, help and share their true experiences with the devices.
Unfortunately I am disappointed to find out that this forum is not like that. But a space where people curse, cry, abuse and demean other users and devices. I am not talking about only J7 Prime, but I also notice same thing in some other popular models.
Anyway I have decided to visit less and post as little as possible, because I believe most of the authentic users (of any device they like and use) knows their devices and can handle most of the software issues. As for the hardware issues they visits the service center. As for here most of the people are not authentic users and they come to waste other's time, make fun, fight with others and talk about imaginary issue. Thanks for reading.

Galaxy A5 2017 launching RPP is RM1699, now around RM1400++.
J7 Prime RPP is RM1199, now can get below RM900.
Fyi, low end phones like Galaxy J3 (RPP RM599), J5 2016 RPP (RM799), J7 2016 (RPP RM999) come with Super AMOLED, so are the coming J5/J7 2017.
It'd be great if J7 come with Super AMOLED with higher RPP, maybe RM1299?
I'm not sure only my J7 Prime has the flickering screen problem or this is common problem of PLS TFT LCD, it take abt 2 sec (few steps) to stablize the screen brightness, you can see the screen become brighter & brighter or darker or darker within 2~3 sec, too bad i had sold my J7 prime else I can show you a video.
Also, J5 J7 with PLS TFT LCD the tone is yellowish, just watch this video you'll know.
My advise, dont get Samsung phones with PLS TFT LCD, you will regret for 100%.

They used LCD in order to keep costs down.. if it had AMOLED then the price would've been higher, and at that point the A5/A7 2017 would offer much more for almost same price.

The deisgn & build quality is good, but the PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen is piece of shit, should use Super AMOLED instead.
This PLS TFT keep flickering when playing game and it takes 3 to 4 "steps" to adjust/stablize the brightness during app swapping, which makes my eyes really uncomfortable.
The colour is too dull also, my advise is, don't get Samsung smartphone with PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen.

Also, you can't expect one to carry around a DSLR all the time to take pictures. I use my phone's camera more than my DSLR. Higher end phones like the S8, XZP, Pixel, etc. can take great pictures.
