Also it has dual 4G VoLTE to use JIO. Alternatively if you need NFC to use Samsung pay and Super Amoled screen you can choose J7. Both devices are excellent. Regards.

Thanks everyone for appreciation. I am happy to see that my advice is helping people. As for my opinion about different brands and devices I have never say this one is best and that is worst. I believe every company brings a product after doing many research and targets specific customer.

As for talking about Samsung, I am using this brand as smartphone, feature phone, tab for about 6 years. I have never faced any major issues to visit a service center. And most importantly most of my friends, work mates also used Samsung devices.

And here I am to share, learn and help other people. I also learnt a lot. E.g. about APK Mirror. Com to get the authentic APK files of Samsung, Google, Microsoft and other popular apps; or Sam mobile .com where you can check and download firmware for Samsung devices. Overall I am happy to be here.

Hi Ms Dass, thanks for your advise. Kunal has rightly said that branded companies has to keep their product upto the expectations of the customer and to honour the faith we, as customer, place on them. Though it will cost me a couple of thousands more if I buy J7P in place of RN4, I will buy the J7P. Thanks and Cheers to Kunal.

teevee, 25 May 2017Hi Kunal, what is the advantages (besides saving couple of ... moreYes exactly that Kunal says:

My previous two phones were Galaxy A5 and Redmi 3S prime. Galaxy was less at some features while Redmi was fully loaded phone. And i think Redmi phones are the cheapest phones for now, means its totally worth for the price and specifications they provide. Only because they are online and they dont have any retail expenses.

While Samsung gives you less specification but, never compromise with quality. Hard build, screen, camera, hardware support etc.., is not comparable with any other Chinese brands.

For example, 13 mp of redmi camera has no comparison with even 5 mp camera of Brands like Samsung, Sony, HTC, Apple.. But its at higher price bands.

Same with Screens, weather its Amold, TFT, Gorilla etc.., Its all like Quality vs Quantity.

So, as Kunal said, firstly be firm with your purpose and move further :)

Instead of going for oppo's mediacore chipset, I am getting J7P finally.. Your experience and suggestions really helps a lot.

As I mentioned earlier I lost my memory card of J7 Prime and so few images with it. Anyway I just found many images on my On7 Pro and uploaded them on my Instagram account "kunalmzr".

Both J7 Prime and On7 Pro has similar back camera (13 MP). But J7 prime has 8 MP selfie camera where as On7 Pro has 5 MP. Anyway I hope you will like the images and make an idea of 13MP back cameras of J7 Prime/On7 pro. Regards.

teevee, 25 May 2017Hi Kunal, what is the advantages (besides saving couple of ... moreBoth J7 Prime and Redmi4 has similarity and disimilarity. They are same in screen, size, weight etc. But the major difference is processor, ROM and battery.

J7 Prime has ExyNos processor which is configured more for efficiency and normal to moderate usage. It is targeted more for young working professionals.

As for RN4, It comes with snapdragon 625 with adreno processor which is performance hungry and targeted mainly for heavy multimedia and gaming. It is budget device with mid high level specs. It is targeted mainly for teenagers, college goers and gamers.

Anyway I checked the RN4 forum and few users are talking about heating, battery and camera issues. Also for last few days J7 Prime users are also facing some issues after a update. But it is more of a software issue and soon will be resolved.

So, both are good device and targeted for different users. A galaxy user will find RN4 less premium and a previous Mi user will find J7 Prime too weak on specs/pricy.

Overall I will say you should choose a device based on your usage pattern, brand value, after sales/service, update/upgrade and future needs. If possible take a demo of devices and try them for few minutes. Than buy the one which you feel comfortable.

Personally I dislike (not hate) mi, Honor, LeeCo etc Chinese devices (not Moto, Lenevo) ; because they are very heavily skinned and includes Chinese app store which is worthless for me. Practically when I bought a smart device I see the whole package rather than spec list. And always try a demo or YouTube review. Regards.

Unable to connect 4g after update and calling issue occurs.

My suggestion is to switch the network to 3G and works fine with 4G speed. Hopefully the issue have been resolved in next update.
