Cant really call it bad considering that it comes from the On series
All j series phones generally have amoled displays

Just got this phone after swapping my iPhone 5s and I am satisfied in general.
Pros:
Insane battery life-I am getting 5-6hrs screen on time with Wifi and low brightness.While 4hrs on LTE
Camera-With the f/1.9 being impressive in low-light,less grains.
Software-Less bugs,get frequent updates,not the same old Touchwiz looks
Fast charging-Though fast charging is not supported.It charges pretty well on a 5v/2a regular Samsung charger from my S Duos 2
Vibrant display-Just because its not Amoled doesn't mean it sucks.Colors appear to be more natural and not oversaturated.
Temprature-It doesn't heat up a lot.Thanks to 7870 being efficient
Body Build-Finally Samsung thought about it
Cons:
Fingerprint-not really accurate.I had to register the same thumb 3x to get it more accurate
Front facing camera-Overexposed sometimes,especially when Beauty mode is turned on.
Heavy-Can be very hard to use in one hand
Short wifi range-It has about 15% less range than most smartphones today.
Home button very tactile-Button is on the heavier side.
Gyroscope-Samsung will have to remove basic sensors on mid-range devices
Summary:I usually hate Samsung devices to be overpriced while having a cheap material.But for the J7 prime I am impressed with the overall performance and battery efficiency.Its not that costly too.But in common comparison with the price range.I would go with the Honor 6x/GR5 2017.

I got para from a Mi Note 4 user who sold his device after one month. Here is his words. So, stop curing J7 Prime or any other device. Every device has its own pros and cons like each of us.

1. Is Huweai Honor release security patch update frequently/monthly for 6X in india?
2. Loudspeaker performance while playing Music and ringtones volume for incoming calls.
3. Battery backup for moderate users.
4. Low light and day light photography performance.
5. Heating issues.
6. Build quality of mobile.
I think- monthly updates should given by Honor also Like Xiomai gives updates every months to its mobiles like Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max. I used Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max. I sold out Redmi note 4 after one month of its use. Please answer . As I plan buy Honor 6x. Am I in right direction?

my cell j7 prime hanged 2nd time .then till battery shut down it will be hanged .haven't seen this type of hell phone in my life.please don't buy

We are here to talk and help each other about use of J7 Prime. As for gaming I already said many times that J7 Prime is not a heavy gaming device and Snapdragon/Adreno combination is the best. If you need a reliable device to handle all your normal day to day task than J7 Prime is the best. But if you need a device to play "Dead Trigger", "Asphalt 8", "Fifa" for hours than definitely you should avoid J7 Prime. Even I am thinking to get an Snapdragon/Adreno device to continue to play "Real Racing 3" and "Need For Speed: No Limit". Anyway I hope everything is settle down and this discussion is over here. I am using J7 prime since one and a half month and i am satisfied by its performance.No lagging issue.Processor is very fast.Battery life is decent.It runs a whole day if 90% or above charged.
Both rear and front camera are excellent.The look of this phone is awesome.Its premium designed and just suits in every hand.Overall its a good deal and it will not disappoint the user.

My phone only lasts for 14 hours on moderate usage. I am not a gamer and I browse only through wifi with medium brightness. I am just done with Samsung's mediocracy.
Now we need more and more OEMs to build amazing phones which will force Samsung to innovate on all fronts.
