J7 Prime has huge 3300 MiH battery. And it lasts for about a normal day with 4G on and moderate usage. Few months ago it lasts about 2 whole days with 3G data on. And if you use Wi-Fi than the result will be similar. Also it has ultra saving mode to save battery which turn the device into a Basu device. Good option if you have to visit a remote village like me where electricity is rare gift. Anyway also battery usage depends on how many apps, specially speaking those apps lile social, chating etc which runs in background and consumes both data/battery.
As for gaming like Clash of clan, Hay day etc will h running monthly on the device as I played a lot of clash of clan and also hay day. Also played a lot of NFS No Limit on this device and reached level 70. Than I left the game because upgrading cars need lots of efforts and time. May be I will get back to the game after few weeks/months. Overall it is a good device for normal to moderate user. Regards.

And I have never felt any issues with "fingerprint" sensor of J7 Prime. Remind you that I have total 5 Galaxy devices in my house between me and my father. I use J7 Prime for work, On7 Pro for multimedia (music and video) and 4 year old (yes a 4 year old which is heavily used) my first galaxy device S7392 (with a second original battery) as back up device. My father uses an A5 (2016) and J Max tab.
As for Chinese brands I have nothing against them. But 1) heavily customize skin 2) Chinese language app store and 3) very high specs and funky dual camera set up are not for my taste. Regards.

Phone is really good! Have bought 3 for people in my family. I myself have a s7 and it's almost on par.
Filipo should know how some jealous negative people are, they want to ruin others lives as they do t have a good one.

Mine lasts for a day or two close all apps open if you are not using them, data usage also eats lots of battery. Battery drains fays if you are using too much apps and games which are general in all kinds of phone newbie.

I've scanned my finger print once and can touch it in any angles and it unlocks instantly...I've never had an issue. This phone has 3gb ram but not once did it ever glitch, no matter how many apps I have opened. This phone never ever heated, you should try Huawei...trust me you'll throw your j7 prime in the Bush.

Could last a day with moderate use. Nice graphic, smooth usage on text, clear on voice calls, good speed on mobile data(although area dependent). Although not recommended for high end gaming. But for games you mentioned like mobile legends and CoC it can push through. Thanks.

I'm planning to apply for a post paid plan here in my country Philippines but one of the user also from Philippines made a comment on my post that the J7 Prime battery wont last long it easily drain the battery. Its actually for my wife and she don't do heavy gaming, only COC sometimes, Candy Crush and other offline games. Also only for calling and texting. J7 Prime from India and Philippines are they all the same or it depends in the area depending on the manufacturer.. Thanks and regards.

[deleted post]Thanks for the comment. As for cleaning cache, temp files and unused apps, I will not advice any J7 Prime user; but any android device user. Basically android is very different from Windows. So with time it creates lots of temp files and cache memory; which fills your memory and ultimately slows, lags or hang your device. Many user don't notice it and when their device slows down they thought it is a hardware problem. Anyway to clean the cache, temp files you can use either "Smart Manager" on most of the Samsung devices or use "Clean Master" which is free app but loaded with lots of ads. Anyway I use clean Master on my 4 year old S7392 device which has jelly bean OS. But all my newer devices including J7 Prime, On7 Pro, father's A5 (2106) and J Max tab has "Smart Manager" preloaded on them.
As for using it. You can find it setting menu. Either you can add a big shortcut icon on top of the setting menu or you can see it on top of "Application" tab. Alternatively you can add "Smart Manager" widget to your Home screen and run it from there.
It has many useful feature individually, but if you tap on the "clean all" button. It will do everything. I run it every 2/3 days to keep the device fit. Regards.

As you said your wife play and watch movie a lot. Battery drain so fast. For me not recommended for heavy users. Mine is j7 prime and i want to swap for a new unit or model. Go for zenfone 3 or htc 10.

Hi I'm planning to get this kind of phone for my wife and it will be under postpaid. I'm from Philippines. Guys I know that a lot of you own this kind of device. I have read a lot of comments, I would just like to know if this type of device will last for long. Does this device has LED notification on the front screen, how about the battery does it last for a long time on a single charge. The only games that my wife plays are Clash Of Clans, Candy Crush, Farmville, and some other offline games she's not fun of heavy gaming. The only thing that she's doing is calling, texting and browsing the internet like FB, watching videos on Youtube(rarely). Most of the time she's watching movies offline(Korean). How about the performance of the phone.. Please give me some advise. tnx and regards.

Had an original J7 which has an amoled screen and the big disappointment is the screen on the J7 Prime is nowhere as good, despite the higher res. On the positives it has 3g on on both sims, which was the reason I upgraded. The screen is also slightly smaller than the original J7. The big difference is the improved telephony and a bit more memory. The negatives are the screen and no flash on the front camera. The J7 had a rear speaker while the j7 prime uses the earpiece for the speaker and is not as loud and tinier. Performance is about the same; maybe the J7 a bit faster than the prime, possibly because the software is more mature and polished. Battery seemed much better on the original J7 or am I pushing the Prime too much by upgrading all my apps?But the prime feels up to date with the side simm and micro sd draws; pop a sim in or out and its automatically handled. Sometimes it's not all improvements; cost of parts and keeping to a budget can affect things? My feeling is it doesn't bowl you over like the original J7 and the Prime suffers a bit of cost cutting.
