Personally I have always believed that Samsung devices are more for productivity and light/casual gaming. If you want to play really hard and heavy games, than you should go for Mi, Lenevo or Moto devices. They are cheap but also lasts shorter than Samsung.
As for the touch issues. if you have any issues with the device, than I will advice to visit the nearby service center. Just because one device has some issue, you can blame the whole series. My J7 Prime works well like the other device I have including On7 Pro, A5 (2016) and J Max. I do not felt any touch issues in any device including my 4 year old S7392 Or Trend.
As for gaming I agree that Snapdragon is the best, but again they have massive heating issues in some of the devices. I have read a lot about that. So, one way or another way, you have to compromise. Even the Google Pixel has some audio issues.

But I said that I will go only for Samsung as I am only using Galaxy series for last 4/5 years and never faced any problem to visit a service center. Last time I visited one for Lumia 540 which has some issues and I was told very rudely that it will cost a lot of money to repair it. Next day I throw it and bought On 7 Pro from Amazon. Than a few days ago I bought J7 Prime. Also my father is using an A5 (2016) and J Max tab. So, as Samsung user I will advice to invest for Galaxy devices, unless you are a guy who likes to change the device every few months.

As for battery life, J7 Prime has 3300 MiH battery where as A5 (2016) has 2900 MiH, though J7 Prime has 3 GB RAM and A5 (2016) has 2 GB one, the J7 Lasts longer because of the ExyNos processor. And please remember J7 Prime has a little bigger screen of 5.5 inch compare to A5 (2016) which of 5.2. Overall J7 Prime has excellent battery life. With moderate to heavy usage with social networking, browsing, videos, music and official work, it will last about 24 Hours easily. So, you can go for it unless you are a hardcore gamer.

Not almoled. When i try to touch the screen of my device there is a issue with the screen or is it on the LCD. There is a like water drop inside. Sad!!! Is this normal for tft?

I don't know if this the the model's issue in general or my handsets issue in particular but my galaxy j7 prime had a touch problem right from the day I bought it. Ridiculous! If gaming is not your criteria then this phone is good and may go for more than 2 years may be without any problem. But if you consider GAMING a criteria this is not the phone! The phone slightly late when playing high end games or even sometimes normal games on high graphics setting. I am a Gamer. My phone's touch was pretty unstable and used to flicker a lot while gaming especially. From my experience the best chipset and GPU for gaming is SNAPDRAGON and ADRENO, respectively. Gaming on Exynos-Mali or Mediatek-Mali not as smooth as on Snapdragon-Adreno. I know Snapdragon 615-617 are pretty old chipset yet they give better gaming performance than even Exynos 7870. Only problem with Snapdragon 615-617 chipset is heating. But they heat because they give good gaming performance. Exynos-Mali phone's do not heat that much because they do not give good gaming performance either. Gaming experience on Moto G Plus 4th Gen (cheaper than J7 Prime) is better than this phone. You might have read several people giving opinions like good phone, using for 2 years and still no problem. That is probably because they aren't gamers. Higher cost and slightly better specs doesnt make the phone better in every aspect. So if u r looking for gaming mid range phone this ain't one. I'd recommend a phone with Snapdragon chipset and ADRENO GPU. Moto G Plus 4th Gen is a good option. Hope this helped.
