The camera and the flash sit literally flush against the chassis. There isn't the lightest hint of a bump!

        7+ years & still running! Can take pictures better than most phones these days! the only issue is the storage...

          This phone was the absolute BEAST for me back in 2016. The 64GB was shocking for me, because I'd never seen storage that big, usually having 32GB. The games on there ran absolutely awesome! Unfortunately, everything about the phone just started to shift, and eventually everything stopped working around 2021 July. I was sad, because I had lots of memories on here. 😞❤️

            It's decent to good. I have an A51 and its speaker is booming sure, but the J7 Prime's speaker is good, certainly acceptable.

                  I've never regretted using this phone for sure.

                    Been using this *beep of a phone since its released in my country, the first 3 years its kinda good enough for daily used.
                    And since 2020 and more, its just sad and pathetic hehehehehehe
                    Crack the phone for like 3 time, and havent change it yet since 2020 dec.
                    The mic busted cause water, fingerprint+ middlen button bye bye, and power button is no longer haptic, speaker still ok somehow and battery, well its ok, but still usable after almost 8 years.
                    I mean the phone now in my country is around $40-60 depend on condition and box, but yeah...now is my secondary phone, the 2018 asus m2 pro i bought used in 2022 for $88 is far more powerful even up to 3x is my main phone now.....

                        Might be old, but it will never break, 2017 till 2021, with nothing but a tiny crack in the bottom left corner of the screen

                          i brought this back in 2017 and worked really well for 2years then the display had to be replaced.. and still works just fine battery is stock and screen on time is around 4.5 to 5 hours in mobile data..

                                Mine is still going strong for 7 years. Although in 2020 (4 years in), the SYSTEMUI keeps crashing every 4-5 hours, stopping only upon restart. It happened weeks after updating to the last software update. Guess this was Samsung's way of EOL-ing the device for old model users.

                                Ended up learning how to root and install custom ROM on it. Fun experience. XDA forum community is amazing.

                                  My phone got damaged in water and I started using this phone as a repla ement for a while..good phone, no lag on day to day use, normal 1 day usage battery life, many apps still support, no network issues, gps is accurate...storage might be issue for many people
                                  Overall 9/10 from budget phone perspective
