Here's my opinion about this phone. I got it not even a year ago, and it has been working very well and everything, BUT within the last few months or so, I have been having some major issues. Now keep this in mind- my service is NOT bad in any way, shape, or form. In fact, my service does pretty well, even in the worst areas. Calls and messages do not come through to me at least 70% of the time. People will call me when they're directly next to me and it will just go straight to voicemail. My phone will not even tell me that I got a missed call, but for some reason, when I call people, it's fine. Onto the messaging portion. I will NOT get notifications from any app or anything that I got a message (yes, I've checked all the settings and allowed notifications, messaging, etc.), until I go into the messaging app or whatever I'm using (e.g. social media), and it will show me that I have a messages from people. Another thing is that most of the time, I don't get messages until at some point in the day where my phone will be buzzing lie crazy because I got over 50 messages, when in reality, they have been sent hours prior but barely reach my phone until later all at once. Often times as well, it shows on my phone that messages have been sent, but everyone on the other end doesn't get it. I've done everything from go to my carrier's store, to deleting everything off my phone, to resetting my entire phone, and nothing has worked. For some reason, no one else besides me has this issue with this phone, but I'm lost and have been searching for a few months to see if there's a solution, and there seems to be no solution.

Here's the good about the phone though to leave off on a good note. The camera is really great, I enjoy being able to see all my pores in the front facing camera because of the awesome 13MP it provides. It runs pretty smoothly with everything else. Even though I can barely use the phone, I'm going to keep it for photos and social media, while I get another one for messaging/calls. It doesn't freeze on me, sometimes it lags or when I'm responding, it will get stuck and I have to lock and unlock my phone, but then it's pretty solid for the rest of the month at least LOL. I haven't had issues with my screen, no glitches, no scratches or cracks (but that's because I have a great phone case), everything is easy to use. The sound on the phone is phenomenal. Loud speaker on the side of the phone, fingerprint can be a hit or a miss sometimes, screen resolution is great and the size of the phone in my opinion is fantastic. Not too big, not too small.

Anyways, that's my experience with this phone. I'm not sure if it's because it's an international phone and I'm in California, but I'm still trying to figure everything out.

    Till when we got pie update, and i want to ask u that is there any possibility of getting duel volte support with this update.

      Cant wait for this phone ro recieve Pie update. How it performs well with a new fluent design made just for samsung phones. Got one problem theres a green hair line on the most left side of my phone yet prior asking samsung cust serv it surely does cost a lot when trying to change my screen offfff.

          even got screen protector also the same 2 times my screen is gone. even drop not high :(

              I can't stress this enough.

              I've dropped my phone WITHOUT A CASE onto tile (multiple times) and the screen protector has saved my screen from cracking.
              I ordered a privacy screen from Amazon, which i highly recommend. (For about $14 .. maybe less)

              *the downfall is that it definitely makes the screen a bit darker. Outside on very sunny days it's difficult to see. However, many have commented on how they hate the fact that they can't spy on my screen while next to me. Or they think I'm staring at a blank screen.

              That is all an added bonus to the fact that it's saved my phone screen from many falls.
              The screen protector looks like hell after all the abuse. But under it is a brand new j7 screen.

                  power , Home and up volume
                  and select from the set which will show:
                  factory reset
                  I think it will solve
                  But you will lose data
                  such as Contacts, messages programs installed

                    as the original cable of mine was not good after while
                    When I replace with another Samsung cable
                    the Charging time back again to 2.5 hours fro 0 to 100%

                      Ive been using these phone for almost 2 years, the only problem is I need to charge my phone from 0% to 100% for 4hours. Im using the original charger and cable, does anyone experience this?

                        j7pro had phone lest then year . received pop up notice that up grade was available and to down load, did as instruct to. took about 20 minutes , after complete PHONE WOULD NOT BOOT UP AND HAS NOT WORKED SINCE. Any help please.

                                      My experience with this phone is somehow different from what other people has experienced this phone.

                                      My experience was utter crap, it was lagging in Mobile Legends in low settings, especially in clashing. And for that price point too! Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 cost less than this phone but it performs really well.
