If you are gonna buy new midrange device then sure go for A53 . Because its gonna get 5 years of update support. (4major os updates). Its something like the Flagships update policy . Most other brand midrange devices only provide 2-3 years of software support. So I can say that A53 is something worth, price is a bit high .

Indian, 16 Jun 2022Instead u should think for M51 or F62 I and my friends used samsung m31. Nearly after one year motherboard got issued. U can't use the phone after that.

Still I'm using with no major issues , ugh ! Android 12 ONE UI 4.1 is good enough, no system adds , but bloatware is present, no issue can uninstall unwanted bloatware, one thing its M series phone so you wont get samsung homely features like Good Lock , fheme park , .But for the price range it was good enough! Except some batch issue in exynos 9611 soc !

this handset has a very bad '' add '' issues , can't use hanset properly because of so many adds are displaying in every 10seconds
if this problem of mind will not being solved by customer cares .. i do not refer anyone for this brand or this handset .

Oliver Queen, 20 May 2022Should I buy M31 or S9+?S9+ in 2022, are serious? Where can you get a new S9+ ? Which country you lived in ? Is a 4 years old phone with zero support, you have even have parts problems later...
Even M31 is already 2 years old, if you are short of money, get your self a Xiaomi Redmi or Poco instead, there have many phone below 200 usd.

T4techdroid , 18 May 2022According to reports M31 & A51( A51 2020s best seller )... moreI think is fair if Samsung didn't update M31 to Android 13, since this phone start with Android 10, anyway I think is too soon for Samsung to announce Android 13 eligible phone, probably by Q1 2023 we will know which phone getting the update.

According to reports M31 & A51( A51 2020s best seller ) both the midrange devices might get an additional update of Android 13 ONE UI 5 . Since Samsung promised 2 updates for its Midrange devices, its strange 🤔. No official confirmation yet!

This phone is really better still a 2020 device is good being used in post 2022, Hope SAMSUNG will provide Android 13 for this device! Not sure ! Camera's are perfect 💯 still well i.e selfie and main camera are better for still shots !
