24Mobile, 20 Apr 2022There is only one thing that bothers me about my phone M51 ... moreCompletely drain battery then switch on again till it automatically switchs off again, then charge the phone to 100% while it being switched off, this process will recalibrate the battery, i did it too

Update to 4.1 Android 12 has come. I am not updating till I read the reviews whether it is ok or otherwise.

Finally got Android 12 & One UI 4.1 update for my Samsung M51 …I’m from India…update was heavy 2GB+ but it was quick load and update on my Wi-Fi… 😊

Still not brave enough to update from 11 to 12. Actually its a good thing samsung released update in RU first as there is huge userbase and you can get real user feedback on forums like 4pda.ru - so far what I can see its different kind of problems after update, biggest one is crappy auto brightness regulation (its too sensitive, changes brightness without delays). Some also says there is increased batterry power usage and heating :( I can wait and use 11 as there is no really any real problems with it.

Just got notification saying that Android 12 update is available for my M51 (Baltic region). Postponed it for later. Will take backup first.

Honestly I will only stop using this phone is when any manufacturer makes another big-battery phone. Not everyone has a desk job and this phone has saved me so much hassle compared to my old one. No more powerbank, and no need to shut down the phone fearing I will not be home before battery runs out. Thank you Samsung.

There is only one thing that bothers me about my phone M51 Every time I charge my phone to 80/85٪ When I take out the phone from charging it gives me 90 Sometimes, 100 even though I didn't ship it to 100 This problem is from the time I bought the phone from eight months until today, even with updates and fabrications, the problem is still there, but the battery is good, it only gives a wrong charging number sometimes

RIP to my galaxy M51. It has intermitent charging fails.
I loved this phone and I would love if samsung make a sequel keeping everything the same as M51, except camera and IP68 rating or IP67 at least. Those two improvements were neccesary.
The phone I most loved ever.

Thinking about getting A53 because i can't stand oneui core, but im gonna miss IR proximity sensor and capacitive fingerprint scanner which is not present in A series.

Love it. It's a bit bulky and I switched from Cricket to Mint as cricket no longer supported the phone, but this thing is still going strong after a year and a few months. Battery easily lasts 2-3 days with normal usage. Worst I've had so far was a heavy usage day where the battery went from 100-49% with 8 hours of screen on time as I keep my screen at a static 75% brightness so zero complaints here.
