Hypocrite, 28 Sep 2020I suggest you read thoroughly the articles in the links you... moreWe don't get a page such as the following from Xiaomi do we?

    https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-remove-ads-from-a-galaxy-smartphone/

I have no reason not to believe samsung, who in their right mind would hit their $2000 customers with ads to win a few cents, makes zero sense, likewise I have no reason not to believe Xiaomi that they do show ads as part of their business model like they say they do.

So asus ran into the same problem:

    https://www.onetechgadgets.co.uk/blog/asus-to-stop-unwanted-ads-popping-up-on-their-smartphones/

Sure they are doing it on purpose..........................?

Atidev, 28 Sep 2020Amazing phone Here the rear camera can shoot 240fps @1080... moreThe M51 doesn't have 90Hz refresh rate display. In fact, Samsung doesn't make any model with 90Hz display. Samsung only make phones with 60Hz (like the M51) and 120Hz (like the S20). What are you trying to do by blatantly lying?

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2020I use a samsung phone and i only get an ad like in 2 months... moreI got xiaomi and samsung about 3 months ago. I did not notice any ads since then. After i installed all the apps i needed and turned off sammy and xiaomi apps, i didnt see any ads anymore.
Am i the only one experiencing this?

Phone guy 13, 28 Sep 2020Battery to bigAmazing phone
Here the rear camera can shoot 240fps @1080p which is present in Samsung's official website and the info over here bout the phone's information provided is not complete and not accurate tooo. It would be appropriate to check the Samsung's official website.
The massive battery and the great display and with that mid-range processor from Qualcomm is just great for the phone phone at this price rate and the 6-8gb ram is something more than enough and 128gb only storage is actually enough according to studies for a normal user, and even if that 128 gb is not enough it also supports sd card. Above all the camera provided here is really great(at the price point, not by thinking its poor which it's not, but cuz 108mp cameras are there). By the way the presence of sd card and the 3.5mm audio Jack is actually rare but is present here. And also gsm arena has not mentioned this the phone is with a 90hz refresh rate display which also can be confirmed with live chat at Samsung's website.
The only down side is that there is no spalsh proofing and no case within the box.

Other than all that this phone is the best at this price point than the realme 7pro and the poco phone x3 nfc.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2020Samsung has specifically denied their health app and has pr... moreI suggest you read thoroughly the articles in the links you provided because most are contradicting your claims.

The first link even mentioned ads is still a problem despite Samsung claiming otherwise, because users been reporting seeing ads in all Samsung Apps. These are apps preinstalled by Samsung, not 'problematic apps' that were installed by users. That means Samsung knowingly introduce ads into its native apps while denying its existence. Samsung is credible just because it says so? Pretty naive of you.

The xdadevelopers link about ads literally stated completely turning off ads is enabled by Xiaomi. It even mentioned why Xiaomi need to adopt ads strategy. It's to cover for hardware costs from the low selling prices. Meanwhile you turned a blind eye to Samsung giving ads while still selling at high prices?

Which brings me to your last point. It's easy to believe in only one side's story if you are biased. South Korea has been involved in trade dumping activities as well, so please don't you treat them like they are squeaky clean and blameless. You expect China to play fair while South Korea is free to play dirty just because it has USA's backing? Here is just an example:

Hypocrite, 27 Sep 2020I am sure you didn't read the previous link, so here i... moreSamsung has specifically denied their health app and has provided a phone number to report any issue as you can read below:

                  https://piunikaweb.com/2020/06/16/samsung-dismisses-claims-of-showing-ads-in-the-health-app/

There is no denying that some (but NOT all) users have been seeing ads BUT this is likely a consequence of a compromised device.

How about forgetting about samsung and focusing on android itself, google seems to think ads and other junk are possible on any android smartphone due to apps on their very clean google play, just look at this:

                  https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2765944?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en

In contrast Xiaomi publicly accepts ads are a central part of the company's strategy:

                  https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-miui-ads-hamper-user-experience/

It's absolutely shameless for you to say that Xiaomi and the others just sell at "normal" prices while budget samsung phones are overpriced, china has for many years been following a national strategy to crush foreign companies. chinese prices are artificially low, with the help of their government, if you are really naive you can read some about it here:

I am checking what russian users are saying about this phone in their forum (4pda.ru) and they say that M51 (sold in Russia) does not support 4G+ (only 4G).
Seems like its software limitation put there by Samsung. Some users tested M51 and other phone which support 4G+ with same sim, same operators and same place and they say difference is huge. Not in favour of M51 of course.

Samsung you should updated your phones back look

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2020Well read around please: https://mimicnews.com/no-samsun... moreI am sure you didn't read the previous link, so here is another article about Samsung ads. And it is not lockscreen ads. I am talking about ads popping up when using Samsung Apps like Health. You know, the type of ads you always blame on Xiaomi.

                                      https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/07/04/ads-are-taking-over-samsungs-galaxy-smartphones-and-im-fed-up/

So, you actually blaming Chinese brands for selling affordable phones instead of blaming Samsung for selling overpriced phones? Well, I am not surprised since I have been seeing you here almost every day defending Samsung while condemning Chinese brands. You should at least accept constructive criticisms instead of looking like a total hypocrite.
