Stoney, 16 Dec 2015Can anyone tell me WHY this phone constantly turns off. exa... moreMine was doing the same thing. It was the battery. I only found this out after they sent me another phone (but I kept the same battery) and the new phone did the same thing. A new battery fixed it.

the battery still longer lasting than 11 hours++ after one year , best performance in game grand theft auto with smooth,this phone used chipset exynos 4415(exynos 4)great,

Use it for 1 year.. never had any problem.. great performance never sluggish.. battery life good..

It is from the body of the phone torquing and the battery contacts not touching. You can try to shim it to press the battery against the contacts, but this is a drawback of these phones. Worse in tight pants!

Can anyone tell me WHY this phone constantly turns off. example I use it to make a call
end the call sent it back to normal screen saver. put in my pocket, or on tha table come back in mintues and the phone is (dead) . I try to turn it back on, NO luck, I have to take the battery out, put it back in and start the phone( turn on the phone). This happens several time a day, monstly when I really need the phone the most.

Scarlett , 07 Nov 2015Ok I have had the IPhone 4, Galaxy S3, S4, Note 1& 2 Me... more I was an I Phone user and was tired of it so I chose the Samsung Mega 2 and I am having the same issues. Cant answer my phone when it rings sometimes, always have to re start it, it is very sluggish and slow. Apps will open up on their own when the phone is sitting somewhere. Looks like I will either be going back to an I phone or not sure what phone I will get. I just want one that works how it should.

i have had this phone 2 years with nary a problem. not sure if it is better than other Galaxys? I love the big screen

I have the mega 2 now, and I'd have to say for me, it's a great phone. It's fast, I don't drop calls, they screen is great and it's nice and big. I read some of the reviews and seen alot of people saying the phone takes you where ever it's wants...mine did that ONCE and it was because I got a virus from another app. Every since I master rest it that one time, it's been perfect ever since then. I've had no issues since!

I've use this fon about 8 month n it still fast. I work sending email n multi screen n its fantastic. Good job Samsung!!!
