will this phone receive 2.3 gingerbread?
i have an update to this version: pda:ke1, phone:ke1, csc:ke1 (oro). what does it mean? all i want to know is what upgrades to (2.2.x froyo or to 2.3.x gingerbread)?

vicky, 18 Jun 2011pls anyone tell me how to connect my mobile to pc If you are using a laptop that supports wifi or a computer that suports wifi yhen its pretty easy. What you would do is go to settings on your handset then go to connections and click on mobile ap this will then turn ur device into a wireless modem. Your pc/ laptop should connect to your device, it will ask fir a pin which you will see when you activate your mobile ap, this is to endure your network isnt open an that someone connects to your network an uses your data. If your laptop or pc doesnt have wifi, you will have to install the cd you received in the box, you will then connect your handset to your pc/ laptop using a USB cable. Hope this helps

i thinnk read the specs if you would like to consider the capacity
and how you need the phones for its usage. nokia c5-03 has 5mp camera, flshlight too.. etc, some thing like that...

galaxy mini is also known galaxy pop.i bought this phone 15/06/2010.but galaxy pop is not good phone.demerit of this phone are listed;
1. full charged on 4 hours
2.not seperated mode for network(means can not select umts mode only for this reason your phone change 3g or 2g automatically)
2.screen resulation too much poor.
3.website open too much slow reason network mode
4.donot play avi or mkv file
i am in tension to buy this phone

margelo, 16 Jun 2011it doesnt workSorry my mistake. To set your own notification tone. First go to my files, make a folder name media, then in it make another folder name it audio, now make last folder in it notification. Also for ringtone just make folder name ringtones. Make sure all the folder name small letter. It works on my phone so it'll help u hopefully. Please reply if not works or works.

Does anyone have any idea about the official Gingerbread update?
I was reading articles saying that it's already available from Samsung in the UK and Nordic countries last month. I'm in Sweden and so far stuck with 2.2.
I would LOVE to have Gingerbread cuz it looks nicer and faster.
Any clue??

here a coment from a portuguese nokia fan. since samsung came out with this i would'nt trade it for any other.
however it takes time for a nokia user to get use to samsung sotware, it is well worth it.

It sometimes gets switched off and by using the power button it doest not wakes up. once you plug-in charger then if you press power button then gets re-started. I don't know wheteher is it a software bug or the Hardware issue?
