Good news for GPS user. Now you can install Papago X5 Free for android to Galaxy mini. I've install Papago X5 to Galaxy S and it works perfectly but for galaxy mini font it's not very clearly due to low resolution (240x320). Maps currently available for this country only - Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong.

lisa, 15 Jun 2011i noticed that while talking my calls always get disconnect... morehey lisa,u just keep ur phn near about 8 cm to ur ear n the screen will go off automatic.proximity sensor is just at the left side of ur front speaker for screen auto turn off during call.

Change Sound Notifications:
Open My files or Astro. Find a folder media/audio/notifications. If not found then you have to create first by create folder 'media','audio' and 'notifications' (all must small letter). Copy your sound mp3 in 'notifications' folder. Now your selected audio should've available in Notification Ringtone.

Enable USB Mass Storage:
After plug-in the usb cable to the laptop or pc, pull down the menu (menu button for Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPS, Silent and Autorotation). Now on the screen will show "USB connected" and "USB Debug".
Now press the "USB connected" and then "Turn On Usb storage". The mass storage device will then be visible in the file explorer in windows in a minute.
Note: It might delay for 1-3 minutes and phone will vibrate a couple times means some programs installed on SD memory had force to close in order to use SD memory as a Mass Storage. It's recommend to use Kies (within USB Debug) so that you can copy/transfer file without unmount SD Card first.

To connect with PC, you must download Samsung driver for android. Here's the x86 / 32 bit version.

after finish install your driver, connect your Mini with the cable. open up the notification tab up there in your Mini and choose USB connected and just Turn on USB storage. done ^ ^

Everyone is complaining about they can't change massage/notification tone. Here is the solution. Go file browser. Make a folder name is media then in that folder make another folder notification. Now copy and pest some mp3 file. Now you'll see there files to settings notifications list. Hope it will help u. Oh one thing those folders name must in all small letter.

hello..i have some question about this phone.

Guys, without Kies , my cell doesnt act as usb drive though i inserted 4 gb mmc....

this pohone is good but i connect wiht pc iternet speed very slow.. in mobile internet speed good..this not show massstorage option..i cannot interface wih pc..

Well i can say it's worthly upgraded to gingerbread. So much feature added and bugfixes included on this version and i hope Samsung release the firmware via Kies asap. I already tell the advantage of 2.3.3 from previous post but if you want live demo, just find it on Youtube.
