By the way, i just received the december security patch. Plus some battery updates, it seems that the battery drain issue should stop.

Sound issue on my note 10 lite. Most of the times Neither my voice goes nor others voice comes while using application like messenger and playing pung game. But sometimes it works why ?

Also has better chipset, battery, lots of other specs, only doesn't have an Spen if that's the most important thing for you

workingclassman, 15 Dec 2020If I don't care about 120Hz refresh rate, which one sh... moreIf u have no need for spen go for 8T but as per camera i need to inform you that Note 10 Lite front camera is worst, foggy abd whitish... but back cam is great.. so I'd say go for 8T its worth the wait if u don't need the Spen...most of us with Note 10 Lite chose it for the Spen and nothing else

If I don't care about 120Hz refresh rate, which one should I choose between Oneplus 8T and Note 10 lite? Note 10 lite is significantly cheaper and fits my budget perfectly. I have to save for 2-3 months to get Oneplus 8t. The phone is obviously better than Note 10 lite but is it worth the wait?
Also I think Note 10 Lite's camera is better than 8T's camera and Camera is the most important feature for me

Got one 2 weeks ago. I agree that there is loads of post processing on selfie cam pics. Samsung should have fixed that already. Turn off auto brightness for always on display otherwise a process can't remember any more will eat up around 6% battery. Speaking of which the exynos soc is not exactly energy efficient, but phone easily lasts for a day. Love the pen and use if for pdf book annotations in classroom Xodo app) Got the good locks installed, too. It's a pretty sweet package. Overall no complaints.

I used this phone for 1 month now and i am going to say some stuff here, for anyone interested.
1st, the screen is not perfectly flat. On the edges it is so slightly rounded before the bezzels start (or whatever they are called).
2nd..the battery does drain a little bit fast at times, but only when i am in places with bad signal. If you don't have such problems and just use wifi all day and with location turned off, you will get even 12 hours of screen on time with one charge.
This was my personal record, 6 hours of screen on time from 100 to 50%.
It depends on many factors, but the battery life is great.
3rd thing is to never ever use adaptive brightness on this phone. Due to the fact that that it does not have a light sensor and only uses the front camera, it will drain the battery prety fast.
For me, in 11 hours of usage during a day, this thing alone took 11% of battery.
Not adding other activities in background or the apps i was using.
4 is that the camera is great, but you need not have shaky hands or else your pictures will get weird. It have some stabilisation, but it is not enough to save your pictures if your hands are shaking like you have parkinson.
5 about video, i didn't find a way to open the super steady mode. If anyone read my comment and can help, please answer :)
6 gaming performance is ok, but i wouldn't run the most demanding titles with detiles maxed up if i were you. The phone is stable enough, cause i did some performance tests on 3d mark and in the endurance test, performance dropped somrwhere around 15th run i think. Probably it would held better if you are in a more chilly place. I also was having the phone cover on, maybe it was responsable for this over heating, idk.
But the phone heats up quite a bit. Not too much, it will not feel like it is about to burst into flames, but not really great.
7...spen is so cool. If you don't know what to do, take the pen out of it's socket and start writting down something or draw anywhere you are :)
Just not in a rainy day or in shower cause it skipped the ip67/68 rating.
And especially not in a swimming pool or in the sea/ocean cause that will iremediably kill the phone. :)
I also found out that all the pictures and videos look way better on a big screen. On the phone screen, when you zoom in they look somewhat weird. Like the colours are blending on the edges of objects and they don't look prety sharp.
But if you look at the same pictures on a bigger screen, idk why but they look different.
I read on internet that this phone will get 3 android versions, so android 13 here we come (in 2 more years from now :) ).
I used to have a samsung j5 before and i noticed over the years (4 years more specifically) the performance didn't drop almost at all. It even became better at some chapters...maybe will be the same with Note 10 lite too. With android 11 maybe it will become better at battery drain and camera performance and whatever.
