      Yeah.....i've finally gotten my note 10 lite, the phone and its specs is super cool. For that price, I must say I'm really impressed and super excited. At some point, I was almost discouraged due to the nasty comments and reviews,funny enough most of them don't even own a note or S series all they do is criticize. The thing is you can't get a 100% phone

                absolutely tr@$h phone. once the honeymoon period is over, you'll get what i mean.

                it is too lacking. in several departments. the note 3 neo, also a 'lite' phone was not this bad in comparison.

                  You are right about Whatsapp as well. If you go to Whatsapp/Settings//Notifications you see that the 'Popup notification' option is greyed out, and it you tap on that you see a message 'Popup notifications are no longer available in your version of Android'.
                  It is a pain, as you say. Makes me think of the old saying 'If it isn't broke then don't fix it'.
                  I wish Google would ASK us what we want instead of TELLING us what we want!

I have disabled the Pick up to Wake feature and Always On Display and now I unlock by directly applying thumb on the scanner on the OFF display. This way it works better for me.
                      Non detailed notifications are a pain in the a**. You have to open the particular app every darn time. Used to reply from Whatsapp notification right from the lock screen using 3D touch on my iPhone

                            Face unlock is very 'Hit or Miss' and only works properly in bright conditions. When the light fades or you are in a room with subdued lighting then it almost always fails. I would say that this feature only works about 40% of the time. Fingerprint scanning is also poor. My Oneplus 7 PRO with an Optical scanner opens the phone in about 0.5 of a second, but this phone has a Bio-metric scanner and it takes 2 -3 seconds to open the phone (when it works)!
                            Notifications are also a pain now that Google has banned pop-ups on Android 10 and all you get is a brief message on the screen that disappears in a fraction of a second and you have to open the phone to see who has texted you.

                                No gorilla glass mentioned anywhere. But I assume that it would have atleast equivalent if not better protection than the midrangers like a71 or a51. Hard to say about price drop yet.

                                  1. Does the phone have any Gorilla Glass protection? If no, what kind of protection it has?
                                  2. What's about the front Camera? Many complaints about this!
                                  3. What's the chance to drop the price within 6 months!

                                      So after using this phone for over 2 days, here is my brief review:
                                      1. Screen is gorgeous. Though I couldn't find any screen protector for it in the market as well as online yet, and had to fit a 9D protector of some other phone (probably of A71) that was smaller in size and made the bezels larger and hid some screen estate. But keeping it just for screen protection.

                                      2. Battery is just ok. SOT of max 6-6.5 hours with careful usage. Exynos 9810 is highly inefficient. SD855 on S10 Lite would give better battery for sure.

                                      3. Rear Cameras are very good. OIS was my main requirement and the camera output didn't disappoint me. Wide Angle is great. Though I miss the Live-Photo of the iPhones on this. Not sure if this phone has that feature.

                                      4. Front camera performance is below average. Worst at indoors. Didn't like it at all.

                                      5. S-Pen is good to use, probably the reason that I got this phone.

                                      6. Phone is snappy. No lags. Processor is fine. PUBG works at highest graphic setting. Didn't play COD yet.

                                      7.In-package headphones are the worst.

                                      8. Loudspeakers are decently loud. Though the mono speakers are a turn off, but still not a deal breaker for me.

                                      9. Glastic feel is good. Though the form factor of this phone does not give a NOTEish feel.

                                        The headphones that I got in box are literally pathetic. Haven't checked with other headphones yet to experience the sound tuning of the phone but couldn't be more disappointed with the packaged headphones.
