When you pay over 500€ for a smartphone, you expect to receive premium materials. The phones are made from plastic, as the A-Serries. These are not IP rated so no dust/water protection. You are paying extra for the brand of Note or Galaxy S. But they are not giving you the same feeling as premium, because in the end it is an expensive device. For a similar ammount (500-600€) you can get more power and quality materials from the competition. The processor is slightly improved but not significantly, and the cameras are fine, but not a big deal. So If you have an A50 (as I do) and consider to switch you would not find it so attractive for the price. The same thing goes for the Note 10 lite if you have the A70. At least those devices cost around 350€ and for the price, you cannot complain. You got what you paid for. But with the S10 lite or note 10 lite, you are paying for the brand, that has berry less to do with the original ones.

The greedy retailers in my country will make these phones not worth it by rising the prices to ridiculous levels to maximize their profits.
That is what they did for the Poco phone F1 the pixels 3A and 3A XL and now with the Note 10 lite and S10 lite.

damn people cant seem to accept the value that samsung is putting in to their phones and customers. some people see it and some people dont. just so u know that when u hate something then leave it be OKAY. not just showing of that u like this and u like that but no u are all different and let us limit our self. its not like everyone listens to ur comments

When I commented on this topic there was no information about telephoto lens on Note 10 lite and telephoto lens was mentioned in S10 lite. GSMA corrected the specs over night. Now it's clear. So before commenting on anything please learn some manners & etiquettes that how to react with a unknown gentleman on a unknown matter. I hope you will learn easily since you are still a student. How about launching 3 different variants of a flagship?
"Pro", "Regular" and "Lite" similar to what Huawei is doing with their P phones.
Unpacked Event one for 2020:
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite.
Unpacked Event Two for 2020:
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Lite.

the note 10 lite looks sooooo nice. especially in red. i would love to sell my note 10 plus for the lite version. seems its battery is gonna last long time.

S10 lite has an over-all better package, better camera setup, less weight and less thickness, nonetheless SD855

The primary camera is actually the same as the Note10's. It comes with variable F/1.5 to 2.4 aperture. It also has a headphone jack and very good build quality (glass and metal).
Compared with the regulat Note10, you do lose IP rating, wireless charging and the stereo speakers.
Considering that this is a Lite version, last year's flagship chipset is not that bad (it's 1.8GHz A55 and 2.7GHz M3, literally the same as the Note9). It's actually a lot better than the Snapdragon 730 found in the Samsung A71. Not to mention the better build quality, better cameras and the pen. This is a better phone overall than any A-series phone.
Pricing is not that great though. It may be my next buy if the price falls in the 300 euro range, as I'm currently using a Xiaomi Mi A2 and it's getting old.

Cameras looks bad, i'm big fan of Samsung but i don't like at all this style of cameras.
