Been using this phone for a while now and hands down it's the best phone I ever owned. I even got it for a little less than $290, absolute value for money. I'm looking for a new phone now. I need some.thing around the same specs and the same price. Is Mi 11 Lite NE good?

9/10 from me. I've been using this phone for the last 2+ years and I can say it's one of the best all-rounder phones money can buy. The screen is great, chipset is really fast, especially GPU that is quite capable. Its cameras, except the front one, are very capable and pretty close to the best phone cameras on the market. Battery life is pretty good, although it won't beat any records since the chipset is not very efficient on standby. I keep it on stock Android 10, One UI 2.1 without any updates since I bought it, which paid off. Never froze on me(even though it's a 6/128 variant), always robust and reliable. I've once had a very nasty fall from bike going at very high speed, it got away without any damage and, as odd as it sounds, the plastic back was its saving grace because the back would definitely crack if it were made of glass.
There is also a microSD card slot which acts as a hybrid slot, 3,5 mm jack, close to flagship chipset (was flagship once) and better than any midrange chipset available today, really smooth 4k 60 fps video support without doubled frames to artificially meet the fps count, great OIS on all back cameras and an S Pen, all of that in a single phone. That's an offer that's hard to beat. It's so good that I plan to use it until it becomes unusable.
So, I recommend this phone with a little annotation: don't update it, turn the system update off.

I know that this phone came with Android 10 out of the box. But, it was more of a mid-ranger at that time. So, I don't know if it's treated the same as a Galaxy S20 series phone for example (which for sure will receive Android 13).

Samsung kills previous models with upgrades, so we buy new and expensive ones...
