Why Samsung still keep the fast charging with S7/S7 Edge?
And for sure they will still have it in Note 6.
Kindly elaborate how the Samsung designer will keep it to the succeeding models if it will have bad effect?

TN, 13 Mar 2016Sorry to disappoint you. I've been recently cycling my 6-mo... moreYou are right, I am really disappointed with that plastic phone Note 3 that cannot even last up to 18 hours of normal use even when I connected it to Samsung mobile WiFi to supplement daily task of minimizing battery usage. You cannot get "18 hours" with just light usage, not with full brightness, not with LTE on, no gaming, and less than 200mb data. Very disappointing plastic phone.
Good I changed to Note 5 that gives more than 24 hours of battery with 64GB that is more than enough for SMART user and supports to one of a kind VR experirence.

Tcool, 12 Mar 2016How do you explain why Samsung still keep the fast charging... moreIts a fact that using a fast charger degrades a battery quicker because it operates at a higher temperature.
Most people prefer the fast charge ability and at the end of the day you can get sealed batteries replaced it just costs a fair bit. I don't really care as I usually only keep phones for 12 months anyway.

[deleted post]I used to connect my previous plastic phone Note 3 to Samsung Mobile WiFi and it only gives 6 hours of battery performance plus another 6 hours with extra battery equals 12 only. Such a pity for a plastic phone. Didn't even reach 18 hours.

I know people with older Galaxy Notes who also get 3 days with light use.
I believe you can get "24 hours" with just light usage, not with full brightness, not with LTE on, no gaming, and less than 200mb data. Can you show Screen shots with hours indicated? No, you can't.

Updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1, here are the initial thoughts in the past 48 hrs.
+ Note 5 is even more faster, it's blazing fast now you'll be shocked
+ Fingerprint unlocking is faster, unlocks nearly instantly after pressing the home button
+ Games loading time and performance increased, really I didn't expect that
+ No aggressive RAM management, I opened 11 tabs on Chrome and not one reloaded itself
+ Improved overall performance
- Battery seems to drain a little quicker than before, hopefully an update will fix that
- The photo editor crashed twice, but worked fine on other occasions
- Can't really see Doze saving battery life on standby, but phones need time to optimize apps
