What is Samsung doing with theirs? Weird features from competitors keep on appearing. I want the fingerprint sensors at the back at least so then they will have to put metal back cover. Give me 4000mah battery and I will shut up. Give me 256gb internal storage then I have no need for sd slot. Give me 8gb ram then I will not blame touchwiz for lags.

- Excellent screen
- Most efficient Exynos SoC
- Great battery life
- Way better design than Note 4
- No heating whatsoever

No matter how you look at it, having a fast internal memory, processor and good camera mean little if the past Galaxy Notes were even more capable and less flawed than the Note.5. Samsung should bring back the removable battery, infrared remote control, one-motion S Pen release and memory expansions slot:
*128Gb microSD card at less than $75, than $300 for a mere 32GB more of internal memory.
*Full power in under 90 SECONDS, than "under 90 MINUTES".
*Control most of appliances with infrared control system.
*Double or tripple the power with extended battery, than carrying a powerbank.
*No fragile, fingerprint prone glass back.
*No S Pen storage flaw to speak of.
*No screen freezing to speak of.
*No frequent wifi disconnection to speak of.
And what some would boast about the Note.5 is how it comes in gold, and it's special order for over $1000.

Yes after update battery life is good and screen freezing is gone. But people are looking for expandable memory and removable battery. Well removable battery is old and almost gone. 32 gb is sufficient hope we are not using as a laptops

AnonD-77443, 03 Dec 2015I think your right in that glass backs are here to stay for... moreAlthough the glass back looks nice and premium, I still prefer the Note 3 faux leather with fake stitching. It looks nice and more durable compare to LG G4 leather. Real leather absorb moisture and sweat and tend to smell overtime. I just wish they bring back the faux leather even if it is unremovable. I don't mind at all. Removable battery is not much of a problem anymore for me. I had a laptop with built-in battery that is unremovable so it pretty much normal these day. As for sd slot, I think they will definitely bring it back. I read somewhere they figured out to make sd card works with UFS 2.0 type storage and they now also have 128gb UFS 2.0 storage available. It would be even better if they use 2.5D curved glass on the front for more premium looks.

The prob... moreHehe, it seems no matter how they try to defend spending so much that does a whole lot LESS than previous Galaxy Notes, having just the latest processor and fragile glass back are all but a waste.
They have to endure copying and erasing that 26 GB of user space a while lot more often, while we just do some memory management a few times. They think this is the future and norm, while we enjoy so much features.
Bring back the microSD card slot, infrared remote function, and removable battery system, Samsung. Stop losing your real customers.

The problem with the GN5 isn't about sharing data its about needing to keep clearing your cache, removing apps, videos, pics etc because Samsung is only releasing a 32GB GN5 in many countries. Loving my GN4 with 192GB of storage!

The battery is the most likely to be worn out faster. I'm still keeping my choices open for my next phone device to replace my Note 3. It looks like I'll be keeping it a lot more longer than I intended. I need that S Pen. I need that AMOLED screen. I need that removable battery. I need that memory expansion - all pointing to the Note 4 than this half-baked Galaxy Note.5.
I'm expecting my extended batteries for my Note 3 in 2 weeks - I don't have to change batteries during the day, yet will be able to just heavily use my device. Now with manufacturers going sealed battery, I have to endure having to plug in some 2 to 4 hours during the day, and expect the battery deterioriated in a matter of 6 to 8 months. Man, that just sucks. And uncritical buyers are just happy NOT knowing about it, nor do they actually care. Yup, just as long as they see "100%" everyday - not knowing it is getting less and less in usage everytime they charge.
Glass back "premium"? That's why I stayed away from Sony, other than their pathetic battery life usage time. If this really is the "future", I wish they DOUBLE the battery capacities of theose darn sealed batteries - I certainly do not mind it being 15mm thick. Functionality over bling. Yeah, that's an idea, Samsung - make other variants with double the battery. Having to carry around charger/charging pad/powerbank is simply so SILLY, just to say your phone is less than 8mm thickness.

Personally i prefer the GN4 back as it has a lot more grip, shows less finger prints and doesn't shatter when dropped. Plus its removable allowing 100% battery recharge in 60 seconds.
I think removable batteries are gone but SD cards may come back if Samsung can't develop high speed 128GB storage. 32GB is a joke in 2016 (almost)!

The new 2016 A series are a strong indicator glass back cover will not be gone any sooner. Glass is better than cheap plastic and works better than metal. Gsmarena article did mentioned Fast Charging now available in the new A series. Samsung really wants to emphasize on wireless charging.
