Convenience is the way today. Wireless charging is so convenient just drop phone on a plate like thing, that anyone will be happy except few old fashion people. It produces heat but fast charging also produces much heat. It replaces irritation of tangling cords and searching for correct side of a 5 mm structure like micro USB charger. I have not read any case of shortened battery life due to wireless charging. But note 5 is just out so costly So we can go for lava phones or xoxo phones or note 3 they have all inconveniences as wanted by some they also hv a micro sd slotslot. Some phones may have 2 micro sd slots but we hv to search them

I'm iOS user and than note 5 come.. I buy one month ago 64gb gold version.. First week its performance superb but after they show poor performance
1. Slightly laggy
2. Poor ram management
3. Display freeze
4. Show lag in GTA San Andreas
5. Battery backup not so good
6 back covered with glass its fingerprint magnet
7. Slippery
8. Only s pen is good
After one month I sold this and bought a Apple iPhone 6s plus its so fast and camera is also superb 3d touch is so helpful in camera section or to open a direct link.
Feel so premium in hand.... No lag smoother performance... Plz don't buy spend 150$ more and buy apple iPhone its superb...

AnonD-100398, 08 Nov 2015Wireless is the way to go.!Hehe... Yes, I too am a fan of wireless connections - SideSync, Bluetooth earsets, Miracast, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct, but not "wireless" charging.
Even fast "wireless" charging is as the same amount of time as normal wired charging - it just has an expensive extra pad. It produces more heat, thereby reducing the battery's longevity.
Yes, another one who drank Samsung's advertisements - just the type they want to spend more money. The uncritical, complacent, and vain.

This is review site of galaxy note 5. This is not place to argue that being confined to one place is underpowered or wandering is overpowered. Watching videos in mobile good or E books is good. Any way 32 gb or 128 gb either is a very small portion of our total need
Note 5 is more powerful than note 4 with less lag and less bloatware
But true is ssd are good .better

AnonD-77443, 07 Nov 2015Sorry but only releasing 32GB GN5 with no SD card is a lot ... moreThe underpowered users are actually suggesting we start carrying wireless HDDs. Their point can actually could work if the wireless HDD has a solid-state harddisk than one spins mechanically and the internal battery can last over 12 hours han a mere 4 hours. But hey, having just one device is all what we need with an 128GB micro SD card.

bhabani, 07 Nov 2015Whatever, galaxy note 5 is a really beautiful phone and. S... moreYup, this is the type of customers Samsung is trying to target - the easily impressed, underpowered user, impractical and the uncritical in thinking.
Arguing that 32GB internal memory enough, but bringing along accessories like an ENTIRE wireless 2TB HDD (that only has 4 hours of power per charge and endanger thousands of files to being lost) what should be, wow - the point of you arguing that I watch so much video everyday is surpassed by this guy. You should NOT even be boasting that you carry around 2TB just to have to carry your "true" total storage needs and access them.
I have 3 external portable 2.5" HDDs and one 240 SSD (which is the only one I carry if I need a bigger portable storage space) and do not carry any of the spare HDDs while out of the house because for the obvious possible accidental drop that can destroy an entire HDD instantly. My portable SSD is much more safe from accidental drops:

Again, swap batteries in about 80 SECONDS is better than having to wait "within 120 minutes" to wirelessly charge. I only reboot once in 24 hours. I carry only one spare batteries than plant wirtess chargers that are SO much more ineffecient. They are efficient to you because you are an underpowered user. Do you make it as a hotspot that you can consume 2 to 6 GB of data daily? Do you turn on keep your data service/bluetooth/NFC? Do you constatnly connect your portable wireless HDD all the time? Well, I can do all those without worry of running to a wireless pad charger in the office.
Another thing is I, unlike you, is not in one place in extended length of time. So I don't have to keep looking for power outlets to have to plug in an impractical wireless charger - I actually have that in my Note 3 with an S wireless charger cover. I tried wireless charging for 2 months, and never used it since. I just like the cover because it give it a flatter back that doesn't wobble.

So, in conclusion, Samsung has really done it with their marketting targets - people like this with money to spare, and who doesn't consider the Note series as a tool, but rather something shiny to show off.
And no, Samsung has failed to make a bigger profit than before - thanks to financial reports than popular reviews (you mentioned) with superficial critique and focused on the exterior looks. No one emphasized the fact that it has a fragile back.

Whatever, galaxy note 5 is a really beautiful phone and. Successful too. Anybody Can check reviews. Removable battery is never a concern,( who wants to old fasionedly remove the back case battery reboot 2 times daily,). No micro sd Is a concern but small, bcoz there is not much diff between a 64 GB int mem and 128 GB micro sd when the real storage needed by people is many more than that and they Can Only store a "portion" of their reqmts in the available be it 64 or 128 gb.
And Regarding comparing note 4 and note 5, the above say apply. And wireless charging. And bottom speaker make note 5 a really desirable phone

Bhabani, 06 Nov 2015My do of note 5 differs.
Anyway my wireless 2 TB(means 200... moreYes, wireless HDDs great for really large amount of storage, however dangerous for accidental drops that will result in losing terabytes of data. You carry one daily? LOL, it only has 4 hours of mobile use with its battery. Unless you changed the HDD to an SSD, I remain unimpressed. You'll even need to carry around that powerbank to power it for continuous use to boast you carry that much data around.
I'm getting one 2TB wireless Seagate for home use to replace my 1TB HDD connected to my TV. I'm pretty familiar with the technology, thank you very much.
Meantime, I have the media I need on a 128GB solid-state memory card that doesn't have mechanical moving parts, in the pocketable sized Galaxy Note 3, and the only thing extra is that spare battery in my pocket.
Yes, keep carrying your 2TB HDD and the powerbank. It's a great idea.
