Bhabani, 06 Nov 2015My do of note 5 differs.
Anyway my wireless 2 TB(means 200... moreYes, wireless HDDs great for really large amount of storage, however dangerous for accidental drops that will result in losing terabytes of data. You carry one daily? LOL, it only has 4 hours of mobile use with its battery. Unless you changed the HDD to an SSD, I remain unimpressed. You'll even need to carry around that powerbank to power it for continuous use to boast you carry that much data around.
I'm getting one 2TB wireless Seagate for home use to replace my 1TB HDD connected to my TV. I'm pretty familiar with the technology, thank you very much.
Meantime, I have the media I need on a 128GB solid-state memory card that doesn't have mechanical moving parts, in the pocketable sized Galaxy Note 3, and the only thing extra is that spare battery in my pocket.
Yes, keep carrying your 2TB HDD and the powerbank. It's a great idea.

So I automati... moreWhat I find funny is that most people will get nice case which will cover the so called ''sexy''back of the NOTE 5 HAHA.
And having a GLASS back means lots of problems in the future. and also as you said '''no removable battery''. Which if when it needs changing you have to go to Samsung who will charge you a minimum of 50 euros to change it. When you can buy a new one for 15 euros and change it yourself.
Also I root all my phones and install Custom ROMS. Sometimes you have to pull the battery out to reboot the phone when modding.
NO thanks, Samsung. Too bad you are going the way of Apple.

Bhabani, 05 Nov 2015Let the cloudy telecoms be greedy . Com s are also producin... moreThis is one example what underpowered users the Note.5 is attracting - people who think videos are the only things you are supposedly storing on large memory. 64GB card fills up, and you just want 32GB model, out of which you get some 26GB for storing your personal stuff? Such limited thinking, and agrees to paying more for something less.
The main point is, PREVIOUS Galaxy Note models had memory expansion and more features. My internal 32GB fills up, and I then transfer to my extended memory card - that simple. I have my PDF/ebooks, audio books, music, pictures, practically my immediate media on that bigger card. It's wonderful, while you more often go and fetch files because you have a limited storage. No need to carry extra external memory accessories.
And yeah, I have a hobby, job, and I managed to do a 19-paged paper with the PDFs I had on hand rather than waiting for cloud to download them last week; listen or watch audio/movies/TV shows stored to concentrate while working; and this week I entered for an international illustration competition again using my Note as the virtual pen tablet to edit out with Photoshop and with a library of images I collected for references again stored in the memory card.
What do you do with your Galaxy Note? Selfies?
