AnonD-441601, 21 Oct 2015Well. I must disagree. Warranty on battery ends in 6 moths ... moreYou should consult with your supplier, all unibody phones have the same warranty period as both battery in the phone, since in this case the battery is part of it.

Connection on the phone also depends on the network. If the area offers moderate reception then phone's signal will be affected. We should also bare in mind that it is not always a device issue cause it might be a network issue. The phone will work depending on how the owner use and handle it.

Sure till s7 launch their won't be any updates of os of marshmallows

But look at lg Sony HTC came with updates but Samsung is in defence mode they need to bring up sales point for s7

But we paid hefty money for note5 but still need to wait till March

Ultimate Samsung person who paid 27k for note 3 neo needs to wait for lollipop but who pays 15k for j7 will get lollipop

nd, 21 Oct 2015Hi does anyone find the signal is weaker on the note 5 then... moreYes u r right 3g signal r weaker. I was using airtel network but signal r weak. But when i inserted d same sim in note 3 then signal r good
Now i m switching to idea
              May be problem get resolved
If it wil not then i wil definitely change this handset to samsung customer care or from where i hav purchased

AnonD-424566, 21 Oct 2015Exactly my point.that's what removable battery's are all ab... moreAnd don't i see the logic why Samsung is pushing for for sealed batteries. No sense. Anyone with a logical mind say they love the slippery glass back? How they love fingerprints on the device? How great it is that it's more fragile? Just so they can say they have it has incredible "premium" build? How it's so thin, only to put a thick plastic cover to protect it?

A sealed battery is the future of powering smartphone? Unless battery technology finally gives us a new technology that gives more than 3 times the power capacity per volume than the current lithium technology, a removable battery still gives you the fastest way to regain full power for heavy use without the bulkiness.

I'm not stopping anyone from enjoying their fascination of lugging around powerbank/charger/wireless charger pad to charge their sealed battery. Samsung, just needs to bring back this essential feature that makes them as Samsung. It gives people like me better battery management and options.

Me, 20 Oct 2015Simply means ur straining your phone and battery. Turn off ... moreWell. I must disagree. Warranty on battery ends in 6 moths .Cellphone warranty is usually 2 years but battery only six moths. After that you have to pay for replacement in authorized service.
                  So its crap.

AnonD-456605, 21 Oct 2015iPhone battery can be replaced too, just FYINot user replaceable. Very big difference.

I have been using the Note phones since the Note 2. Key unique selling points were the removable battery and external memory card. At the moment I have about 70 Gigs used on my 32 Gig internal memory /64 Gig external memory Note 4. The Note 5 has a max of 64 G so this means that I can not move all my data to Note 5. Besides this I normally use 2 batteries each day (swap time for the battery is 30 seconds; no fumbling with battery packs). According to me Samsung wanted to copy the sleek iPhone looks, but this was a mistake. I will not move to the Note 5.

Hi does anyone find the signal is weaker on the note 5 then note 4...my Internet looses and my phone signal is weaker any advise..

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2015This is personal preference. But there are not many people ... moreYes, with that anti-wall hugger advertisement by Samsung. On the 0:44 part, it shows the iPhone user stuck charging and waiting seeing a guy changing his battery:

                              http://youtu.be/xS7UujDa_k8

It didn't mention it took under a minute to change the battery, but I wouldn't be looking for an outlet or lugging around a powerbank that's 5 to 10 times larger, and have my device indesposed for 30 to over an hour while charging.

Here's a demo of how I change the battery:
                              http://flic.kr/p/k8Wdnr

Notice it took exactly 1 minute to boot down and battery changed under normal movement. By 80 seconds, the entire thing is up and running. I could do it less if I just yank the thing without booting down. This method is exactly 80 seconds than waiting "under 90 minutes" to charge a Note.5. Remember, 30 minutes is only for 50% charging,

You don't see people doing it? Never? Well, not many do this because they don't know. You and the rest think powerbank is the best solution to modern charging because of popularity. It's not the most convenient, and NOT the most EFFICIENT way to top up your device because you got drawn to what iPhone users are doing.

I consume data like crazy without worry of running out of power - as much as 2GB daily. I can consume over 150GB from my unlimited LTE data service monthly, and I can't be bothered to carry a powerbank and hold the two while charging, or stuff them in my pocket bulging. An extra battery is only 5mm thin, WIRELESS and way smaller than any powerbank.

But there are not many people do it your way. I have never seen people do that at all. Trust me, when I say I never seen it, it really mean NEVER. Removable battery is just not 'a thing' where I came from. If it really is the main function why do you think none of the manufacturer ever advertises removable battery that way? Have you seen Samsung advertisea S5 removable battery? "Oh, look. You can remove the back cover and put in new battery under 1 minute. Amazing feature." -_-
