TheNeighbor, 07 Oct 2015Windows 10, micro SD slot, removable battery seem to be top... moreWould have been nice to use an x86 processor to be more compatible with what Windows is known for. Using an old ARM processor thats known to be an oven (even with a heat spreader) isn't what I was expecting. I thought Microsoft would finally differentiate themselves from the pack. With their lack of apps, this isn't anything better than what's out there now. Not even close.

AnonD-430264, 07 Oct 2015So what is it that Lumina does that the Note 5 can't? Windows 10, micro SD slot, removable battery seem to be top on my list.

Raj, 06 Oct 2015Galaxy Note5 - No SD slot, Infrared, removable battery, FM ... moreAnd now the Lumia lineup should be a wakeup call to Samsung to stepping up the game. I'd rather get the 950 XL than a Note.5 because I can do a lot more, plus it will be nice to integrate it with my present Windows laptop, or use the 950 itself as a PC mode.

I have this device for almost 1 month already, overall performance are great.. i found that s-pen is very usefull and also touch screen respond is great (just like any others note series)..
The only complaint is quality of earphone provided by samsung is very dissapointed and also default music apps got a problem very often. It's play but no sound come out.. i use other apps available in play store..

Raj, 06 Oct 2015Galaxy Note5 - No SD slot, Infrared, removable battery, FM ... moreI'm a bit worried about the Microsoft apps though... there are some mapping apps which i dont think i could replace at this stage so will stick with android... will look at Sony though if the GN5/GN6 storage issues aren't fixed.

ATTRACTIVE YET USELESS !!!
Currently I am using Note 4, I wanted to upgrade to N5 but absence of SD card is holding me back from buying it. Even if its prices were $300, I would not buy it because I drastically need an SD card as I keep a lot of data . I don't want to use OTG or all that. I fail to understand how much extra cost is to be incurred to put an SD card?
Who advises Samsung to bring about these stupid changes. Samsung's selling proposition is an SD card and removable battery with amoled screen.
Well bye bye Samsung

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2015Do you know that iPhone 6 has 1810ma battery, while 6s has ... moreNot going to play the Samsung vs iPhone game. When I recommend phones I do it based on the needs of the current user. Frankly I don't care what anyone uses (it really only matters what's best for me). There is nothing wrong with an iPhone if it suits the need, and if someone just needs a phone to work and do what it's supposed to then so be it.
In my current situation I need multitasking without having to lug around my laptop everywhere. So far it's lacking in this phone at least for me. If they fix the bugs then I'll change my point of view.

Been using the Note5 for over a week now. I play games a lot of the time, there are no heat issues. It only gets a little bit warm, hardly noticeable too. I used to play on the Xperia Z2, and that device heats up very noticeably very fast.
Also loads games fast, not as fast as I hoped for but a very noticeable speed compared to the Xperia Z2.
Camera is excellent for a phone. I was able to get decent shots of the super moon eclipse using the pro mode.
