When I recommend phones I do it based on the needs of the current user. Frankly I don't care what anyone uses (it really only matters what's best for me). There is nothing wrong with an iPhone if it suits the need, and if someone just needs a phone to work and do what it's supposed to then so be it.
In my current situation I need multitasking without having to lug around my laptop everywhere. So far it's lacking in this phone at least for me. If they fix the bugs then I'll change my point of view.

Been using the Note5 for over a week now. I play games a lot of the time, there are no heat issues. It only gets a little bit warm, hardly noticeable too. I used to play on the Xperia Z2, and that device heats up very noticeably very fast.
Also loads games fast, not as fast as I hoped for but a very noticeable speed compared to the Xperia Z2.
Camera is excellent for a phone. I was able to get decent shots of the super moon eclipse using the pro mode.

absolut-allen, 05 Oct 2015I don't know why you would have returned the iPhone 6s in o... moreDo you know that iPhone 6 has 1810ma battery, while 6s has 1710ma??!!! my nexus 4 has 2100ma (3 years old).. common guys.. think about it again.. after 18 months u need to keep your "travel" charger with u even when you go to the bathroom :))

I felt like I am dating an silly vain girl.. while note 5 makes me feel like I am dating a hot smart chick.. and BTW note 5, which is a lot better than iPhone 6s+, is 200 cheaper.. Beside Android has bunch of features that iOS doesn't offer. I bet that you have never tried any Android device cause probably don't know how to use it .. ;)

Terry, 05 Oct 2015You havent use long enough to feel the lag.So how long you have been using note 5? Is it slow or something wrong with the phone? Of course somehow using in long term will affect the performance. But you won't using the phone like forever right? :)

[deleted post]Unbelievably freaking backup.it gave me screen on time 7 hrs...which is the highest ever I came across.with heavy usage it will last more than 12hrs.no need to doubt the battery, it just keeps on powering the device.and to be on safer side avoid fast charge if it is not required, use normal charger or USB. Note series is always better in all aspects than s series.

Its up to you.. if you want high specs and powerfull phone go for galaxy note5 and if you want a branded phone go for iphone. Thats it.

iphone 6s plus or note 5
I've always been a Samsung (android) user but the problem with Samsung is that it starts lagging after 1 year and this lagging can only be stopped by doing a factory reset which I hate. battery performance also sucks after some time.
I've always stayed away from iPhones because of their weak battery performance but i have heard that the 6s plus has awesome battery life.
all smartphones give great performance initially (Samsung included) but what about later say after 1 year
my question is whether iPhones also starts to lag after few years
and also what about battery life span of iPhones
as the battery is non removable will it give a consistent battery performance even after 1-2 years
please only note 5 and iPhone 6s/ 6s plus users
