TheNeighbor, 25 Sep 2015For the uninitiated, and the underpowered users: I use Gala... moreNote5 ain't perfect but there is just no other smartphone better than the Note5 in looks, performance, speed, camera etc
& The very important thing easily available samsung service centers which u dont have to see much cause i have been using Galaxy s2, note2, note3 and bought all of them asap they were launched , even the galaxy s2 has never seen the service center and its still working like a pro, i did'nt even had to replace the battery.
only note2 had a screen burn in but samsung replaced the screen without any extra charges and that too with a superfast delivery .
This time around samsung has fixed the my only gripe with all the samsung smartphones i.e plastic build and no premium looks .i.e bought the note5 asap its launched.
I might sound like a samsung fanboy or a samsung rep,but trust me i am just sharing my personal experience and yes i can also understand that there cud b ppl which had bad customer experince with samsung.but hey samsung was best for me so far :)
Btw note5 is even better than its expensive sibling the s6 edge+.if u see the overall qualities. so did'nt have much confusion while deciding which one to go far ..what to say more.ppl just go for note5 if u want the best smartphone at the moment or wait for the upcoming s7 or lg g5 , htc m9 , xperia z6..zzzzzzzzzzzz....lol

The new Note is garbage. Hands-on in BestBuy in the US proved that. Absolutely nothing special out of this device. Same processing speed, same overuse of RAM, same overheating issues as before and a marginally better ppi (516ppi to 518ppi). Again, this phone is really nothing special as compared to the previous Note. Everything is sealed just the iPhone. No expandable memory and no ability to swap a battery. Terrible idea, terrible design. Not surprised though. I knew the Note would be destroyed when the S6 was introduced and this is the beginning of the worst.

[deleted post]For the uninitiated, and the underpowered users: I use Galaxy Notes pretty heavily, and fixed batteries, no micro SD card slot, and a fragile glass back is NOT moving forward, nor is it innovative.
The "Cheap plastic" of the on the rear of Notes 3 and 4 are sturdier and grippy - glass is not. And what do you do when you get the phone - that's right, you put a plastic casing. Ironic. All I do is put a metal frame bumper:

I cast my entire screen with a Chromecast on a TV screen, demonstrate drawing, connect to LTE the entire day - do you think a sealed battery with "under 1-hour" charging can compete with 1-minute waiting time for full 100% power by swapping batteries?

AnonD-100398, 25 Sep 2015One more thing all those cheap looking samsung smartphones ... moreYou better NOT put any plastic or silicone cover on that Note.5, or else you're just a hypocrite for covering up that "premium" fragile glass.

I got this phone 3 day ago. Rest of every thing is perfect except
Ultra thin bezels, sometimes trouble when you use phone laying on bed. Accidently you touch screen with your fingers.

TheNeighbor, 25 Sep 2015Rare? Your "99%" is based on your imagination. You haven't ... moreYou've been giving bad vibe about the Note5, with the usual BS of lack of microSD / non-removable battery / fragile back.. but apparently the only flop is you. People who bought the Note5 are happy with it... deal with the truth.

AnonD-77443, 25 Sep 2015Whats strange about what i said, I have have always said th... moreCertainly one of the underpowered users who states firmly he'd be happy with just 32GB, yet apparently bought a 64GB for an absurd more than US $1000.
Well, Samsung certainly got the formula right for him - bling factor with gold, with fragile glass build, flawed S Pen silo design and less features. Amazing what sort of criteria they think is good design.
I suspect the leftovers of the FAILED S6 series processors surplus were used instead of something that's even the higher and better one, as they would have done before. And this is what we get - another failed iteration.

I only just realised today (after reading the gizmodo article) that the 64GB version isn't even available for Australian frequencies.... the max 32GB simply makes Samsungs decision even more pathetic.

More than half of people care about user battery replacements:

More than half again expressed memory expansion as important:

The Note.5 is headed for a flop, just like the S6/S6 Edge.

Note 5 no doubt. Don't even bother about Iphone 6. It can't compare to the all powerful Galaxy Note 5.

If your phone usage is simple, buy IPhone 6. It has great feel and smooth simple operations.
But
If your usage is more comprehensive, than buy 100% Note 5. It has got all that a phone can do.
Disclaimer: I have been using IP^, Note 4, Galaxy Edge and I got my Note 5 just today

Better you take note5 because note 5 have good display, best camera, good battery life, smooth than note 4,large storage than ip6,4k video recording, good for gaming, great multitasking anf etc.If you buy an ip6 you will regrets because ip6 16gb storage for 700$,low resolution, low battery life, sucks in durability than note 5,s6 edge,s6,s6 edge+.Terrible front facing camera and etc
