I have been reading last file pages of comment, nobody has really bought and told some real-time pros cons. I will buy it when S7will launch in 1st qtr. It'll have a 5.7"screen a real contender fr N5. Anybody got S6 no need to upgrade as same ditto hardware. Same genomics. There is whole world to see, than buy 850$ set.

So far, the Note.5 has is a downgrade compared to the last two generation of Galaxy Notes. All it has to show for are major flaws and a lot of compromises missing the following:
Versatility - all the goodness of the universal infrared remote, DIRECT user battery replacement, DIRECT third party extended batteries like Zerolemon, swappable high-capacity micro SD cards which go up to 128GB for only $75 now.
Rigidness - it's ironic that people complained about the plastic back, and yet now they'll need a heavy plastic protection for that fragile glass back from drops. All anyone needs for the past Galaxy Notes is a side bumper and back is exposed. Another glass surface doubles that breakage incident, especially for our hipster friends who actually like to use this without a case to show off the smudgy laden back.
Reliability - the S Pen for this is flawed getting stuck if anyone putts it in backwards, destroying the Pen detection switch. It's totally f***ed up flaw. You have to keep guard and tell off people not to put it in backwards all the time. This was never an issue with any of the Galaxy Notes.
Powerbank, USB OTG dongle, wireless HDD, and all the excuses for Samsung's direction for this excuse of a poor Galaxy Note-iPhone wannabe are bad compromises for Galaxy Note users. These compromises were the sources for jokes against iPhone users actually trying really hard forcing themselves to endure all the shortcomings of an iPhone.
Looks like there's no difference now.

You are the god of righteousness. We bow to you and worship your words. Note5 is not greater than Note 4. *I bet that is what you want to hear from us. Keep dreaming.

[deleted post]Yup, the smartphone is now officially has more brains than the owner. I'm actually outside, sketching.
Have you ever heard of swipe texting? You should try it. It's darn fast. At least it will improve your spelling.
And that's the great thing about removable batteries - I only change every 12-13 hours, and get full power again, keeping my Note unthetered, thin and handy.

[deleted post]I think it's really time for you to look up what hypocrite means, since you've been obviously repeating it. It practically means saying something, yet doing or saying the opposite later on. Pay attention.
Some examples of hypocrite actions or saying you've been telling us:
*You said you're not an S Pen fan, and would like to get the Edge Plus - but now you're supposedly telling us you've ordered the Note.5.
*You are dissapointed that the infrared remote control is gone, yet you're ok SUPPOSEDLY ordered the Note.5 with no IR remote.
*And Bob cited Apple promoting that stylus is an outdated thing before, but now it's an ok thing with the Apple Pencil - an example of a contradictory or hypocritical statement.
*Apple fans keep defending that iOS with only 512mb RAM is good enough, but now aren't saying anything about the fact that iPad Air 2 sports 2GB RAM, and the new iPad Pro sports 4GB RAM, and they're ok with that - another example of a hypocritical stance.
Are you getting all of this? Do you now know what hypocrite is now?

AnonD-440183, 13 Sep 2015Although you make some very goods points about their market... moreMy profession is architect/illustrator/university instructor.
Even still working with paper, I use the S Pen to do some of my initial idea sketches, even using it to communicate with fellow designers through drawing. I can even do finer works using drawing apps like Infinite Painter, Sketchbook Pro and Adobe Photoshop Touch. Then Samsung had to f*** it up with the S Pen silo design flaw.
Infrared remote control for operating the class TV or projector so I don't have to go all the way to the custodian.
