This was suppose to be my next smartphone. Even my Note 3 can taken in a 128GB card. A higher model should be able to do and has more features.

You've got to charge it in the phone and turn the phone off to put it in. With a USB charger youve got to do neither. People who still change batteries are living like it's the late 90s not 2015. Get with the times.

Wow i thought they will release a premium Note 5, and they did better than expected until theres no 128 GB version, i know not everyone need 128 GB version perhaps just a geek like me who needed it but
But it was actually for Futureproof concept and i think 64 GB wont be enough after 3 Years of usage since i dont change often and treated my phone well so it wont break, and i know dont compare me with other that say after 1 year their phone broke out and need to change and stuff
Everyone is unique,so dont compare them some may have Smart phone that last for just month some last years its actually how you treat your smartphone
Thanks Samsung for Ditching the 128 GB ,perhaps im just ordinary customer but thats -1 customer for you sammy ,Iphone 6 Plus i guess then for me

coolz, 23 Aug 2015Hi, What i understand why note5 series and all the Samsu... moreIt's not that it isn't compatible it's that the read/write speeds are MILES slower than UFS 2.0. People like to moan about Samsung's 'lagging' which on a new flagship device is a load of rubbish anyway (I highly suspect some people get fake or in some cases defective units [even at a 1% defective rate there will still be a lot in the millions sold]) and to not impact on the devices performance they phased out the SD card option for cloud and larger internal memory options.

It's really a deliberate move on Samsung's part NOT to implement it at all.

Over the whole note line and year after year, samsung note was always a hit, a rocket, number 1 in benchmark, and the note 5 is just that way..perfect design, performance, camera, functions, and speed. Although i didnt like s6 that much , but i definitely liked the note 5..battery is very good, so no prb with the non removable battery, and if i need more mermory space an nfc sd card will do the work

TheNeighbor, 22 Aug 2015Galaxy A8 Dual SIM version can take 128GB micro SD card, ha... moreI figured out why they can't put sd slot. The phone is thinner than Note4. Yes, thicker than Galaxy A8 but you forgot the curved glass at the back. The curved glass make the side slimmer and thinner which give no space for the internal component. That curved sides might be hollow for all we know. The space taken by the component is smaller than first thought. They want to make a device that can be hold in one hand and trim the battery to make them thinner. Use a 14nm processor and get rid of the IR blaster to give more space for the Spen at least. Every single space in the phone is used to the fullest. Sealed battery is the final touch to make it as thin as it can be. If there is so much space left you won't be seeing the camera bump would you?
