Galaxy A8 Dual SIM version can take 128GB micro SD card, has 16/5 MP cameras, and a damn metal back. Just uploaded the only demo unit from the only store that has one.

So why can't micro SD cards be on a Note.5? They really want us carry storage like USB OTG dongles and wireless HDDs? Rely on cloud and have us pay for those services? Become renters than owners of devices we buy?

Impracticality over aesthetics that easily breaks?

    To put it simply Note 5 sucks big time and can be regarded as the worst phablet made by samsung since the development of Note 3. It's better for me to wait for Google Ara's modular phone, LG G4 Pro, Xiaomi Mi5 plus or Xperia Z5 ultra than to buy fancy garbage.

Samsung really is capable in putting in a memory slot at least. Interestingly, there's a new A8 5.9mm thick (bling-bling alert!), and takes in up to 128GB micro SD card! Yes, a micro SD!                   Sure, it has only a 1080p 5.7", Snapdragon 615 processor. It's currently $560 and even have a slightly higher battery. It even has an FM radio! Unlike the Note.5, it has a total metal back - isn't that MORE "premium" (cough).

                  The main point is, how come the A8 has these better less fragile construction than a more expensive flagship? Samsung easily could have added these.

                  You are actually having and allowing compromises with the more expensive S Pen-capable Note.5. You are getting less features for $200+ more. Has it come to the lower models are actually even better? And if we are arguing about the processors, would milliseconds differences would kill you?

But stil... moreIt does have an FM tuner just like every Previous Note & Galaxy S but Samsung refuses to activate the FM chip because cell providers want to force people to spend money streaming music over 4G.

                              when comparing this device t my current note edge they are extremely similar in comparison.
                              i'd take the note edge on top as still has replacable battery and able to hav expandable meory plus your nifty edge screen which aint to nifty most times.
                              id would love htis device even more if it was able to ahve the expandable memory to use but 4GB RAm would help with multi app tasking on the device.

                                    Samsung galaxy note 5 design s good nice corner to corner 5.7 inch display.. specification is wonderful.. 3000 mAh battery its less than galaxy note 4 220 mAh but amazingly the battery timing is almost same result.. Samsung done Great job!! Non removable battery doesn,t matter no expendable storage doesn,t matter!!

                                      better design again better than note4
                                      New spen better than note4
                                      16mp & 5mp cams better than note4
                                      New 3000mah better than note4 battery
                                      64gb internal Fast memory better than note4.
                                      Fast 14nm chipset better than note4
                                      Etc etc better than note4 lol.

                                      The above points are applicable for almost 99% Smartphone users in the world and are not for few OVERSMART TROLLS here.

                                      Note4 does not stand any chance against The Mighty NOTE5 lol
                                      Note for haters- Always Remember note4 was also made by Samsung but it has got old now..lol
