Saw the drop test .... BRITTLE comes to mind...

Why is Sami giving less and less (No removable battery / no sd card / no IR blaster / No IP rating / FM radio ??/ Less mAh / Glass back )

I wish they had gone for Carbon Fiber back instead of copying apple ... Blah .... Disappointed.

Is Samsung the next Nokia ----- Reached its peak and is now rapidly declining ??

Will they be the next management case in corporate failure ??

I was already start accepting the unremovable battery and no sd slot thing but the moment i saw the droo test my heart crashed with it too. Too brittle and fragile. Its like having a wine glass as a smartphone. Drop it and it breaks.

I'll get my Note tomorrow. With no need of removable battery or sd card I'm sire I'll be happy with it.

This might possibly be my last Samsung phone after reading about the new Microsoft Surface phone that also uses Android apps with Windows 10 and also covers all the bases that are lacking in the Note 5. By the time I'm done with this phone they should have worked out the bugs by then.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2015USB 2.0???? Why?So anyone who has putchased USB 3 accessories for the Note 3 has to buy them all over again. The same as with the battery with the Note 4, that had virtually the same capacity but of course was non compatible with any of the previous ones.

Anonymous, 19 Aug 2015I use my TV for ambient noise, so it's not that much useless I have lots of gadgets and devices with IR support like a LG 3d tv ,Set top Hd tv box,LG Xboom cm9730 music system ,AC and few more devices so i need the IR BALSTER to control everythinv with one remote only.so samsung sud not have removed the IR blaster.

Clearly samsung acknowledges the brief ownership (rentership) period of their devices as of the last 2-3 years. They know they can toss any old thing out there and enough looky-lou's will have to have it that they will not suffer from pushing a mediocre product. One of the most intelligent things I have seen posted here, and this is true of ALL manufacturers, is that they feed us tiny upgrades i.e. one go of ram higher, per device evolution rather than jumping out with something really monumental with regards to performance (read: 5gb ram, 3.5ghz octave core, etc.) I'm severely disappointed with the note 5 and the games that were played with regards to "leaked" specs and info about it. It was enough to ease the sting of a sealed battery compartment by building it with the long-rumored 4500mah battery that suddenly became a 3000mah one upon unboxing. I'm moving away from Samsung until they really show a strong desire to be number one again and that is done by building stellar devices that set the standard, not mock-ups of other middling yet overpriced clones on the market.

TheNeighbor, 18 Aug 2015I already tested it out. Trust me, not missing out on anyth... moreUFS 2.0 doesn't make any difference when transferring files as obviously the Note's being throttled with only USB 2.0 connection, but it does help reduce lag as every type of flash memory starts to lag as you fill it with lots of files and simultaneously run many files, but UFS 2.0 is faster so can run more at once without the phone slowing so is much better than old eMMC memory.
But that's still no excuse not to have an SD slot because the phone would only slow down if reading system files from SD card so wouldn't affect anything if you only store media files on it and don't move apps to the SD.
