SKYGUIDE, 14 Aug 2015By the way, its worst investment to buy expensive amoled screen ... moreBut there is a silverlinnning. When ur ready to sell it two years, the Amoled panels price has reduced almost to half.

Reason for not buying Note 5

-No UV sensor
-32/64 gb is not enough(even navigation app takes 8GB)
-No IR blaster
-No IP67 certificate(even it is sealed)
-less battery capacity(that also LI-PO,it damages after 8 to 9 months)
-Stupid Keyboard
-No DLNA(even note 3 had)
-No memcard support
-No removable batt
-No Radio
-No upgrade in camera
-No upgrade from note 4
-Slippery back
paying even $600 for this phone is waste of money...better go for note 4 or moto x pure edition.

MrGenie, 15 Aug 2015i tend to you agree with you on the image ghost part.. i have ow... moreThe Super Amoled used in each generation of Samsung Galaxy series is different. Anandtech has carried out an extensive test to measure Super Amoled power efficiency of Samsung's flagship smartphone. According to the test, Samsung has been able to consistenly improve Super Amoled display panels every year, or even every six months. The Galaxy S4 was the worst at 3.41 mW/cd/cm2 while the Galaxy S6 is the best at 2.21 mW/cd/cm2 when it come to display power efficiency. Lower is better. Refer here:

SKYGUIDE, 14 Aug 2015Before I was thinking about to buy samsung with removable batter... morei tend to you agree with you on the image ghost part.. i have owned multiple amoled (or super amoled) and i still had the same problem with each of them...
samsung wave
samsung note2
samsung s4

but undeniably the screen was so good at its time.. and keeps getting better.. its just gets that residue after a year or 2 of use.

AnonD-77443, 15 Aug 2015The main advantage of getting a new phone include a new warranty... moreAren't your warranty would be expired by then. Really waiting for GN6 in 2016? Should had switch to Note 5 while you can for free as you said. Beside, you only going to spend a year with it anyway then switch again.

Also, if you can claim the new one on tax and sell the old one (in good condition) on ebay you all but get the new phone for free.

I usually upgrade my Notes every year for these reasons, this year i will stick with my Note 4 for an extra 12 months and hope nothing goes wrong. If the GN6 isn't better i will go to another brand.

I am an owner of the note 4 and I personally think that the new note 5 should have been more powerful and build out of metal
I also should have had a micro sd card slot and bigger battery
Anyway it still is a good phone with awesome multitasking and great camera

AnonD-429692, 15 Aug 2015OMG !!! No Card Slot ?? Going back to stone-age or COPYING compe... moreI agree 100% I think I will stick to my note 4 it's working perfectly.

The 3000mah have become a standard among flagships. The Note Edge, Moto X Style and LG G4 all have 3000mah battery. Even Iphone 6 Plus have only 2915mah battery. The thickness doesn't seem to matter. Moto X Play with 11.1mm thickness could offer user bigger battery than 3000mah. It should improved by next year for all flagships. Stay with your old phone if it still works. Don't use a new flagship as an excuses to buy new phone. Or purposely break your old phone to buy new one. Try to be thrifty people.

SKYGUIDE, 14 Aug 2015Before I was thinking about to buy samsung with removable batter... moreI have a 4-yr-old Galaxy S3 still running smooth and bright without a single trip to the service center because I kept changing the batteries myself and past on to my relatives and so on to their children. This is a great advantage of having a removable battery, and it's lesser wastage by changing a smartphone every 1 or 2 years right?;)

OMG !!! No Card Slot ?? Going back to stone-age or COPYING competitor...This product is a No-No for me - an owner of GalaxyNOTE series.

This phone is waste - no memory card slot, no FM radio, no user replaceable battery.
