hmm looks like my money might go to Apple afterall. No Microsd and removable battery is fine by me but why would they shrink the battery capacity... The dumbest move made by Samsung. Wrong move Samsung

I am pretty sure since there isn't an announcement yet, i am sure that the Note 5 will have a SD card slot but probably packaged in the same slot as the SIM card, I feel certain Samsung has to atleast keep one of the things that Consumers love about THEIR product.

It wasn't that long ago Sansung did the update on the S4 to JellyBean or it may have been the KitKat system from memory. and they were giving out free replacement batteries as the update caused a 'swollen battery'. Charge would go from 100% to 4% in seconds. This is what worries me.
I'm disappointed as I've been due my upgrade for a while and been waiting for the Note 5. I'm not too bothered about the memory not being expandable but I honestly don't think phone batteries are designed for a 2 year contract.

I know a lot of people who carry around multiple batteries for their Note phones. I am one of them. I have 3 extra batteries with an external charger for my Note 4. I also had them for my Note 3 and Note 2. Before the Note series I had the Moment, Galaxy S, and Galaxy S2. When I travel or at work, I don't have time to stand at an outlet to charge my phone. I don't care if 10 min of charging will give you 4 hours of "talk time" hint is talk time. It takes me 20 seconds to go from 2% battery to 100% battery. I'm a very heavy user. I kill my Note 4 battery in 8 to 10 hours. Samsung had teased Apple people about hanging around the wall outlet but now you have to do the same thing with Samsung phones.
With the Micro SD card. It is faster to transfer my pictures and power points from my phone to my computer or my computer to my phone with the micro SD card. I don't have to worry about loading the drivers for the computer to recognize my phone on someone elses computer. Plus if someone so happens to have a virus on their computer, it would only effect the card and not my phone. I can also get a 128GB Micro SD card for 68 dollars equaling 160GB vs paying 200 dollars more for a 128GB internal memory phone. Even if Samsung wanted faster picture taking by going strait internal memory. I still want the option to transfer my pictures to a Micro SD card. I'm not the only one who feels this way. Samsung can do what ever they want with the Galaxy S series phone because it is for the "Main Stream" people. But the Galaxy Note series is for the Business, traveler, power house, and big screen type user. Now they are trying to make it like the Galaxy S series phone. That is a big mistake in my opinion and much more peoples opinion. I guess we will see what happens when the phone comes out. I'm predicting low sales under Note 4 and Note 3 sales.
Oh I have also said when IPhone 3 came out "what idiot puts glass on both sides of the phone?". You seen a lot of broken glass on the IPhones in the front and back those 2 years. Now Samsung is that idiot. Plus glass is very easy for fingerprints smudges. That is why I liked the Note 3 and Note 4 backing because it did show fingerprints and it was grippy. I'm sure I will see a lot of broken back glasses on the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Note 5, and S6 edge plus. Good job Samsung...lol

I was honestly considering changing over from my iPhone 5 to a note 5. No removable sd. No removable battery. Now I'm leaning towards a note 4. Or just staying iPhone. I'm torn. I want to switch to an android device but I refuse to support those decisions. Any suggestions?

I was really excited for a note 5 upgrade from my Note 1 which is finally dying.
Than I checked out online and think wth is sammy thinking removing the two best parts of the phone.. no way will i pay extra for their memory or pay they them more money to change a battery.. As it stands now i love having 2 batteries, one minute and at 100%, no way will i carry a power bank either..
Bye sammy, hope note 6 is better and I will reconsider.
I will probably pick up a motorola pure now

I have Ben waiting on the note 5 .I have the note 4. I talk so bad to my iPhone friends about no SD card slot and how they are always on a plug now I'm just a closed mouth .if it's no battery I kind of might can swoll that. But I'm not pay a zillion dollars for a 64 or 128 GB.phone I'm going to feel let down and to close to being a iphone.I dislike iphones.I will wait for a note 6..and hopefully the camera is better
