why removing sd ? i have switched to samsung from iphone because of the sd card slot . now i'm going back..

Who really needs a micro sd slot, maybe for business, tons of videos for something idk. but as a regular just android user i do not think you need a a sd slot

I owned the note 3 and 4, but won't be buying the 5. If I wanted an iPhone I would buy one.
What I want is a removable battery and an SD slot. Samsung just lost another loyal customer.

So over the years Samsung has now removed FM radio, SD slot, removable battery, MHL TV out, and from all the pictures it seems they removed the IR blaster and with the S6 the battery just isn't big enough for daily use.
And here I was under the naive impression phones are supposed to do more every year and not just cut features because they add a few grams of weight.

Let leave them alone HTC will soon come out with same specifications of our choice and add removable batteries, card slot and both single/dual sim.
That will tell them that customers has choice to buy what they want.

Samsung if this is true..... Really. Why did you make that choice. It doesn't have to follow the route of the S6. We need and sd slot AT LEAST. Think of all the people who use this phone WE LOVE expandable storage.

I had the original Note, the Note II and the Note 4 but I won't be getting the Note 5. I use extended batteries as the factory batteries do not last me a full day. I'm a power user and need more battery life. Too bad that Samsung went with the non removable batteries :(

If there is no SD-Card slot and removable battery. I will go for Iphone 6s or 7. I love you samsung but I have to divorce you.

they are going back this is a note 3.5 is not a note 5.

I don't know what Samsung was thinking, they took the note4 and took away the removable battery and sd card slot and didn't really improve anything. I believe the only difference is the ram went from 3gb to 4gb. how is this supposed to be an upgrade from the old model? I definitely will not be getting a note5, maybe ill go back to LG.

This is rather no surprise being that Samsung keeps trying to "Keep Up" with Apple instead of being "BETTER". For Samsung to remove the Micro SD Card (Something Apple has never had), and to include a Non-Removable sealed battery (Something Apple has always done), it just goes to show that Samsung believes they can lure Apple Users by making the Note 5 Closer to what the iPhones are, but in fact they are only giving Apple followers more ammunition to poke fun and drag "US" Samsung Note loyal customers even more now.
Wanna be Apple Phone lover is not what I want to be called, so Samsung needs to sit back and once the numbers are in on the Note 5 and they realize they didn't sell 1/2 of what they wanted or expected, hopefully they will scrap this model and come out with a Note 6 ASAP with Micro SD and Removable Battery which is what has kept most Note users from switching to iPhones.

I've been Samsung lost since the S3 had many models since. Current phone is an note 3. I was looking forward to the release of the note 5 UNTIL I discovered no expansion slot for memory and no removable battery. BYE BYE Samsung you stupid greedy twits.
