The battery can be replaced at a samsung service center for a fee. The battery is not user replaceable but can be done by certified technician.

3 months before I had purchased SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 5.Found some issue in display,but it didn't cover on warranty due to some scratch on edges .This what Samsung is cheating peoples money.
I requesting All , Please do not use any mobile products of SAMSUNG.

For me it's my first Note. If SN7 will get SDcard slot it will be a best release. But I love flat Note not Edge. Edge looks great but for me SN5 it is more like a combination of phone and tablet. I am reading a lot on the phone. Best regards.

Drago N5, 26 Jul 2016I have not waited fot Note 7 because Note5 price has droppe... morei bought note 5 a week ago for 34000INR or 500$(including 10% cashback which will be credited later) here in india. also i got 3 months of unlimited 4g data,calls and sms free from Jio 4g. also the phone was fresh stock from the batch of May16. so the device is also a fresh piece. so for me it is a win win situation. also i can't afford latest flagships so this is good for me.

Ello'der old chap, 19 Jul 2016I am all for this product and was actually very excited to ... moreThe unremovable battery made me decide to skip this one because I use my phones for a very long time (my Galaxy S2 finally gave up on me after 5 years so I'm searching for a new phone), otherwise, the Note 5 would have been one of my top choices,
You would have to change the battery eventually. People I knew that were using Iphones had to change theirs when their battery died (around 2 years). Even if you do send it in to have the battery changed, there are usually problems that occur as a result (battery needs to be recalibrated, extra battery drain, etc). I'm not sure if this is improved with newer models, but from what I gather, built-in battery changing is always an iffy affair.

Forgotten to write, last phone was lgG4 32gb with sd card 64gb. I must manage to survive without sd card...once a week backup photos and film to laptop hdd. For battery backup I have 8800mha external batt. I hope to use this phone 2 days without charging. I was looking for a phone with no round edges like S7. S7 could be better. Also a choice was S6plus. It is a matter of taste and usage. Best regards users

Good phablet. I'm using N5 with dual sim. First sim dedicated internet, second sim for calls. I bought the phone 3 days ago. Seald package already updated to Android 6.0.1. No issue with heating even on download till now. Battery is holding trough the day with medium using. But I put off data when not needed. Brightness controled manual. Only 5 apps installed...360 security, mail, whatsapp, Fastreboot, Fb measenger. Thats all folks for the moment. Nice discussion forum.bye
