2) it has jittery/shaky video samsung knows about this problem but they will not fix it because that's how this camera works and there is nothing that can be done to improve it.
The advise was to keep the phone as steady as possible despite of image stabilisation turned on. Same goes for panning shots...you have to pan slower to get smooth video even at 60 fps.
This is what happens when manufacturers are racing against each other to release new phones without thorough testing.

What they reviewed: S7 Edge more sharper and details than Note.5, for stills, and video. Nothing on your stabilization problem claims.

The difference in good light is minimal and the advantage goes both ways depending on the photo situation.
In low light the S7 wins hands down.

That is what you wud feel unless you have Note5 LOL NOTE5 still wins hands down in camera if compaired to S7 /s7 edge there are no two ways abt it however that sud not have been the case and hopefully the same sud not happen with Note7.

We have a term for statem... moreFor anyone who is planning to buy S7/S7 EDGE no matter what don't do it!! S7 edge has shaky video as well in comparison to note 5.
There is more problems with s7 series about which you can find out here on YT or various android forums.
Some guy posted a transcript from a chat with Samsung's representative about jittery/shaky video, they know about this problem but they will not fix it because that's how this camera works and there is nothing that can be done to improve it.
The advise was to keep the phone as steady as possible despite of image stabilisation turned on. Same goes for panning shots...you have to pan slower to get smooth video even at 60 fps.
This is what happens when manufacturers are racing against each other to release new phones without thorough testing.
As for S7 edge having slightly brighter image than note 5 in low light...yes that is true, but the picture is much more grainier in s7 edge.
& don't trust those camera reviewers out there in youtube.even those big time youtubers who sugar coat their reivews or something they get paid for .
Only Trust the YT reviewers who have bought the smartphones with there money and let the camera speaks for itself and let the viewers decide which one looks better.The test sud be in-depth as well.

Using Note5 64gb edition for ~6 months. Calling this a power user phone is a joke. Frequent screen freezing, no support and wipe-cache issues are making the phone disgusting to use. I will never buy samsung again!

Note.5 has F/1.9, while S7 Edge has F/1.7. Not better? S7 Edge has 1.4 µm pixel size sensor, versus Note.5's 1.12 µm pixel size. Not better either?
More from DxO.Mark about the S7 Edge camera performance:
"Colors are also vivid and pleasant in both lighting conditions, scoring 90 in bright light, which drops to a very respectable 76 in low light. White balance outdoors is generally accurate..."
Bottom line is that your assumption about the S7 Edge's camera being not better is baloney.

Samung or note5 does not need any kind of boasting from my side to sale LOL.but what is a fact is a fact.& keep in mind that i have no ego issues like few hypocrite people here in accepting facts Lol.
I know that s7 or s7 edge can perform well in daylight conditions as well its just that its no better than note5 camera in daylight esp when shooting landscapes and looks very bad with its square photos which comes with less details .Hopefully the same camera does not show up on the Note7.

Note.5 camera is slightly better than S6, which is actually excellent. What's better than that is S7 Edge ranked by DxOMark Mobile, but totally can't deal with that fact. All around, reviewers are telling how excellent the S7 series camera really are.
Even if the S7 series are additionally actually water-resistant, better battery, and with very useful memory expansion,they still don't admit Note.5 is a failed experiment.

What a difference in having memory expan... moreYep even without 32gb modals in some regions and even when it was not launched in europe at launch it was sold 5 million in abt 3 months just imagine how much more it wud have been sold if it wud have been available in all memory varients and in all regions.
Just cause you have s7 edge (which Again has ugly square photos + low deatailed photos in daytime and in landscapes) does not mean that it is better than Note5 in overall camera performance LOL stop being a hypocrite.
