Hi I am from Solomon Islands, could not make a call out from my sim 2 with any network but I can only receive calla, text messages and data. Any idea why this is happening?

It started about 5 days ago. I still have v5.0 then when both my SIMS lost 3G/4G signal, i brought it to Samsung service and they said that it's an issue with my provider. Apparently I am locked to the Phone provider, but that's crazy because it used to work just fine, even with my Note 4. Somehow they forced my to upgrade to 6.0.1 and now i have 4G on sim one but 2G only for SIM 2. That sucks because I have data for both.
I found a link that unlocks my phone from the carrier, will that solve my issue here?

I still have the same network problems, sm-n9208 duos, even after updating yesterday at 209MB. First, 4G band 7 (2600MHz) is not supported anymore and sim2 could access only 2G and 3G, not 4G, even if sim1 is already disabled from 4G.

Hmm....finally Samsung has solved note 5 duos sm n9208 network problems...I am now able to get both 2g and 4g networks.....the update was about 134mb

They use to manipu... moreI have same problem with samsung note 5 dual SM N9200 Hongkong CDMA +GSM.After Updating Marshmallow CDMA is not detected by this device and Network provider update their service to 4G from CDMA network(Reliance Communication,India).Now 4G GSM is not working no network.VoLTE button show your current software version does not support this function.

I m seriously disappointed from its idal battery draing.like at night i checked the battery before sleep its was 51% and at morning(7:00am) it is at 24%. Cell always used 70 t0 80% of RAM.

Samsung made a... moreHi Usman,I bought Note 5 duos before 2 monhts and me too faced same issue.But,its actually not Note 5's problem rather its an android issue.Google location tracker is activated by default in Note 5.It may be useful if you lost your device,but its an extreme condition and you can deactivate it and can save a lot of battery.Infact,am getting 2 days battery from moderate usage,like 90 mins calling and 2 to 3 hours data connection.Its done like this,long press location icon in swipe down menu,in bottom you will find google location history.Go into it and there will be an option to deactivate it.Hope it will help.Cheers mate.Note 5 is still worth it and believe me,in practical usage Note 5 doesn't felt any difference comparing to S7.

Such a bad phone in respect of battery life. Samsung made a piece of crap. I bought it 2 days ago nd its battary dain like hell. Battery always daining rather u use it r not. I am a samsung user but now that is the last samsung phone of mine.

Dear GSM ARENA,
Please can't you report to Samsung that note 5 duos users are facing network problems (no 2G and 4G networks) after marshmallow update. Most of the comments here prove that.
We reported this issue several times but Samsung is not listening to us. Maybe Sammy will listen to you.
