Hi, question to Philippines users of note 5. My phone is globe locked but i was also able to use my smart sim with it. However, I cannot use my data from smart and it shows 2g only. I cannot use the smart sim by itself or change the sim tray because it is displays invalid sim card. Looks like it searches for the globe sim first. I want to use my smart data plan instead. Pls help. Thanks.

I am glad I bought Note5. In the past 6 years I had used S2, S4, Note2. I loved N2 a lot but it lags. I wanted to get Note4(bcoz I have lotsa photos and music on MicroSD fron N2) but decided to buy Note5 bcoz it has better camera and nicer design. After 1 month of using Note5 (firmware N9208XXU2PE2, May2016), I don’t miss the MicroSD card anymore. I put my files on USB flash drive and connect to OTG. Before I go travelling, I move photos from internal N5 to a flashdrive OTG. Its camera is very clear and fast. The battery seemed to last 14 hours with facebook, browser & social messaging, on Wifi. When I travel, I use Google Map & Navigation and shooting photos (without flash) and is on mobile broadband. So its battery only lasted about 5-6hours (Note2 lasted 7-8hours). So I have to bring along my powerbank (with fastcharge) to charge when I am in the car. So far, no lag for all the apps I needed for my daily use. I am very satisfied with its size too. N2 was too thick and feels big. It does get hot when I do gaming or GPS stuffs but that is normal and happened to many phones I used.

In fact Samsung Galaxy Note 5 duos sm 9208 is problematic phone. Network problems and Samsung is not ready to listen to its loyal customers to solve the issue.

my samsung duos N9208 says custom binary blocked by FAP lock I used it for a day only the battery went flat l tried to recharge it keeps giving me that message and cannot come on.
Please help l spent so much on it $850

Current v... moreI found a way to unlock my Note5 without spending. To think i almost went for those sites that charges between 35usd - 50usd, those sites are scam! I found this in one on the web.
From your device just dial.
*#272*IMEI#
To get your IMEI just key in *#06#, you'll see 2 IMEI's if you have a dual sim like my Note5, just key in the first one and it should come up with the list of operators that you can use for your phone.
Downside is that I had to backup everything because it reinstalls the OS. You can use Samsung smart switch to do that.

Hi,
Bought May 2016 in Indonesia, on 3rd June charger broke down and I claimed the warranty at SEIN. They happen to have this on stock and they replace it on the same day. Cable was fine, the adaptor turns to be off, just wont charge. Asked the technician and she told me she thinks its a weakness and only happens to the fast charging adaptor only. So user of S6, S7, Note 5 will face same issue. If possible keep the warranty card and also the purchase receipt for Indonesian user as Samsung require this to be able to claim your official warranty.

I tried to no avail to get some help from Malaysia, Called the US. They gave me a ticket# and told me to go to Best Buy.... there, the Samsung rep. Looks at me like I'm from Mars, and at my insistence, calls Samsung on his: HUAWAI NEXUS.... After 50Plus minutes, they tell me to go back Where I came from and furnish proof of US purchase!
I called again to ask why they are bouncing me back and forth and they sent me a FAX number to Fax them information to.....
I do not know how to get my sim2 to work again!

I was suppose to buy Samsung Note 5 duos and was A big Fan of note Series but when i saw the specification of note storage, i am very much disappointed that note 5 does have Sd Card slot.! I wish there was a SD card slot.!
